Next year will probably be the Heat's best chance to win it all. The Bulls will probably not be quite ready (and lacking a shooting guard), the Celtics and Lakers are fading teams, OKC showed it has some serious issues.

Hell, it could be Miami vs. Dal again.

D Wade is turning 30, though.

Wow can't believe the Heat lost this game. Figured they would have some fire for this one and that it would be game7 that they might lose. It was a great series though. Looking forward to next season.

Great win for the Mavs, I'm glad it was them and not the Lakers getting the championship. The two teams I wanted to win the most played in the Finals so I would have been happy either way. Mavs fans are 100X more tolerable than Spurs fans around here, plus I always wanted to see Cuban get one just to piss off David Stern. It has to be especially sweet for them getting the title against the Heat because of the one they rightly deserved that is sitting in Miami.

I kept up with the boxscore and was only able to watch the last part of the fourth quarter. Seems like FTs killed the Heat tonight. Not closing out leads in other games killed them before. I hope Miller is healthy next season, between him and an up-to-speed Haslem the Heat would look more complete out there. At the very least Lebron can get a blow every now and then. I'm assuming Howard, Magloire and Big Z won't be back, maybe Dampier too.

Does Kidd stick around after this season? He has another year left, but he is 38 years old and seemed like it at times, especially mid to late season.

then some dude told me last week that Scott lost his eye due to cancer when he was 14 or so.

NEVER saw this one coming...they were supposedly all about fire power and soft defensively, but that clearly wasn't the case...their offense was very powerful, but their defense was freakin incredible.

All in all, it was the most entertaining playoffs I remember in years.

That person lied to you.

Scott was hit in the eye with a football at a NY Jets training camp in like 2002. He decided to take a pass from a football throwing machine. He didn't catch the ball and it hit him in the eye going at the top speed and from a short distance. The eye has required multiple surgeries.
