i've spent 15 goddamn years making fun of annoying-ass Stuart Scott and his stuck-lazy eye.

then some dude told me last week that Scott lost his eye due to cancer when he was 14 or so.


I hate the guy that told me that.

Stuart was injured on April 3, 2002[3] in New York Jets mini-camp when he was doing a special for ESPN. Towards the end of a day at camp, Stuart was hit in the eye by a football thrown from a football throwing machine. He underwent surgery that night and was out of work for a few months, and has a lazy eye because of this accident.

Even if James checks out, every game has been close without him in the 4th, since it's been a shot or 2 deciding it. They might not even need him. Wade & Bosh could carry the team to a win. Based off the last 5 games though, if James plays AT ALL in the 4th the Heat will win easily. With their star player zoning out for an entire quarter and Dallas shooting like monsters from the 3 they still managed to almost win the last game.

Mavs have been w/o Caron Butler all season and Brendan Haywood for the last 3 games of the NBA finals.

Heat have had all their "super stars" and even if one isn't playing well, they still have 2.

Mavs are obviously the better team.

Lebron was OFF the floor for at most about 20 minutes all series, so that stat is a little misleading. Lebron was gassed in the later games, and quite frankly shouldn't have been playing the long minutes that he did. I was really hoping to see him get a good 10 minutes on the bench in game 5 and it didn't happen. Same with game 6.

The Heat were without Miller and Haslem most of the season, and the Miller they did get back wasn't anything near what he can offer while healthy. Those two injuries really hurt the Heat.
