I tend to disagree. I saw inside pitches called strikes on both Rollins and Victorino that I thought were balls.

Of course, our view is not exactly foolproof since it's difficult to judge where the ball is when it crosses the plate from the camera view.

Yeah, I think there were definitely a few pitches atypically called strikes that I thought were clearly balls based on the tight strike zone. shrug.

I think it was an all or nothing move on Baker's part. It makes more sense when you realize that saving Voquez to go against Oswalt doesn't necessarily increase your odds of winning much anyway. He was going . . . I think . . . for the all or nothing psychological blow of a first game win against the Phillies ace, hoping it would give his young team, largely untested in post-season play the confidence to overcome what, let's face it, are some fairly stiff odds.

The real question is who is the real Reds #1?

And therein lies the rub! If you are going into the post-season with questions like that, you've already got problems.
