For me, ONT is GOOG Call option that doesn't expire until the deal is secured Since Google reports the financial on Jan 21, I will hold onto ONT until then at least. I mean, if Google hits $ 650, then ONT should be at $ .80. Of course, if Google hits $ 550, then ONT should be $ .70
My cost for ONT is 0.57, so, it would take GOOG to be $ 420 for me to loss. Worth a bet!

I used to own CYCC ~2yrs ago, I think I might've mentioned it in the 2008 stock market thread...anyway, I think we missed the gain now, with it's low float, it's a buy for daytrading, but it's almost $2/share, so you might as well buy GNVC or check out NVLT.OB, they just announced their 725th event in their phase 3 lung cancer trial today.

SIRI is fail from a business model standpoint. Stock can obviously can go up before they go broke.
Short timing - as we saw before downside movements occur suddenly, and you won't really even know until it's halfway through. Buying deep OTM puts on the indexes and/or buying short ETF/calls are fool's gold IMO. Learned my lesson the hard way haha.
So are you saying buying deep out of the money puts is really a bad idea? All the time?
