It's so commonplace now that everyone expects it. I think the game is too fast for humans to ref and we just have to accept it.

Multiple HD cameras and super slomo only compound the "issue". When you can pull up a play from multiple angles at once and slow it down to 1/10 of the real time speed suddenly everything is obvious.

LOL, claiming Pierce has footspeed and wasn't sliding over across the paint.

Watch the replay again, from the under the basket camera is is clearly moving to his left. The camera replay that looks like it "could" have been against Wade is from the side so you can't see Pierce sliding over. It appears his movement is only straight up.

If Wade and James keep swallowing, same could happens to Spurs too. If their boyfriend David promised them the cup, anything can happen... Spurs are not safe either.

Wade's foot came out for balance after Garnett shoved him midair. I'm not a big Wade fan, but to claim that was anything other than a foul on Garnett is absurd.

Edit: this is a perfect example of the HD slomo replay thing. Realtime it is obvious that Wade wasn't kicking at Garnett and is being hammered midair. In super slomo an instantaneous reaction to maintain balance midair can seem like an intentional act because the timeline has no real basis in reality. It isn't quite as clear cut as the idiot claim earlier in the thread that Lebron flopped on the Chandler screen, but it is in the same vein.

Garnett fouled wade before wade's foot hit him. If Garnett hadn't fouled wade, then it should have been an offensive foul.

honestly I thought the drive by Wade into Pierce to foul him out was not really the right call. But I think it'd be ridiculous to call an offensive foul on Wade for "kicking" Garnett. Rondo no-call was huge.

I think he knew from the previous drive into the paint (and others throughout his career) that the refs were gonna swallow their whistle on contact as the C's collapsed the paint.

Again the refs called a ton of fouls, slowing down the pace, like they did in game one. This helps the C's. This time, Rondo had the game of his life. Not only was he hitting jumpers at an incredible rate, but they were all pure net. He was in the zone. The Heat shot poorly for a half, and the C's were red hot for a half. The Heat missed 16 FTs.

Despite all that, the Heat won again. I expect a split in Boston and the Heat to seal it up in five. If Wade gets out of his first half funks they can sweep the series.
