Worth a 4 of 12 waiver priority to pick up Ridley or Torain?

We start 2 RBs, PPR league. Current RBs are:

Chris Johnson
Dexter McCluster
Joseph Addai
Ernest Graham
LaDainian Tomlinson
Javon Ringer

I am very weak at the RB2 position. I've been starting McCluster b/c I think he has the most big play potential. Haven't gotten much out of him. Torain may the best choice as my RB2 at the moment, but you never know what the hell Shanahan is gonna do with his RBs. Torain is also on bye next week.

I think I'm leaning that way b/c we all know most of the Patriots' TDs will be coming through the air.

If Ridley falls past waivers I think I'll grab him though. I always wake up at 4:45 AM for work, and therefor always get first pick at FAs.

I'm gonna put in for Torain and conditionally drop Graham. Based on what I saw last night, he's pretty worthless. If that goes through, who should I drop for Ridley? My CJ handcuff, Ringer? Or Tomlinson? Rex Ryan apparently just told his whole team that they're going back to a ground n' pound style.

I think it's premature to say this. Torain had ONE good week. The week before, it was Helu. The week before it was Helu and Hightower splitting carries. The week before that it was Hightower all the way. Sure, grab Torain and put him on the bench, but at this point it looks like nobody in Washington is "safe" or "probably".

So, I lost Jamaal Charles and now my team is more or less in shambles, so I'm just going to make large sweeping changes to my lineup just to see what happens.

I'm offering Whitten to a guy that starts Cam Newton and benches Stafford, gonna shoot for Stafford.

I'm then offering P. Rivers to a guy loaded at WR, gonna ask for H. Nicks.

Hasslebeck for Miles Austin (guy has Roethlisberger as his starter)

Cedric Benson for Hernandez (I currently have Fred Davis as my TE)

For WR I have Jennings, Harvin, Bowe, and Lance Moore.

RB I have Turner, Benson, Ingram, and Green-Ellis.

If I can land Miles Austin, I would try and swing Bowe or Harvin for a RB.

Yes, yes and yes. If you're in a PPR league, yes x 1,000,000. If I could pick up Hasselbeck off waivers and flip him for Miles Austin, I'd cream myself.

Edit: Now that I think about it, I wouldn't give up on Fred Davis quite yet. Not sure a starting RB is worth a TE who shares duties. Obviously the suspension comes into play, but if you can absorb that for 3 weeks, you're good to go.

I have Brady as my QB. Only trade I've proposed is the Hasslebeck for Austin. While I don't expect him to accept, I threw it out there in hopes of a decent counteroffer.

Is it for sure Benson will be suspended? I kinda figured his appeal might go somewhere. I've had Hasslebeck a while, it's a 12 team league with no good QB or RB left on waivers.

Who to start at RB2 (PPR):

Addai vs. KC (26th-ranked rush D in yards given up, 27th in rush TDs given up)
Tomlinson @NE (18th-ranked rush D in yards given up, 22nd in rush TDs given up)
McCluster @IND (28th-ranked rush D in yards given up, 31st in rush TDs given up)

They all look good on paper. Addai shares carries the least (2:1 ratio with Carter). Tomlinson shares at a 2:5 ratio with Greene. McCluster shares at 3:4 with Jones, but averages double the YPC. I think McCluster is in line for more of a 50/50 or even 60/40.

I can't tell if my research helped me make a decision or made it harder, haha.

In my mind it's easily between Addai and McCluster. But I don't know which.

indy is friggin terrible, so mccluster is worth considering. but NE is giving up a ton of yards/points all over the place, and with the jets looking to focus more on the run because they suck, LT might have a nice game. I'm not quite sure what addai has done so far this year, but I think he might be the last option

Yeah LT had a great game didn't he? Good on me for playing him instead of an injured Gore.

I don't think I could be more frustrated with ffb this year.
