Just going to blow off a little steam here...
I'm in a 10-team league where you can start QB, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, K, DEF. Somehow I ended up with Rice, McCoy, Forte. Heck Forte was still on the board when my 3rd pick came up and I couldn't let him sit there. My team is relatively stacked across the board, especially now that Miles Austin is back.
But here's the problem. I gambled, and lost, on Josh Freeman. In retrospect taking a Rivers or someone with my 3rd pick wouldn't have put me in any better shape but it's still frustrating. There's a guy in the league who has crap for backs, Tom Brady at QB, and Big Ben/Cam Newton sitting on the bench. He won't even consider a trade for any of them. I ran the numbers and based on projections we would both net out at about +50 points for the season if he traded me Brady for McCoy. Ah well such is FF. Any of you run into this kind of issue with people who just refuse to trade?
Oh well, I'll hope that either Freeman gets out of his funk or see if I can get something out of Hasselback going forward. I'm still in a good position to be honest just because I'm stacked at every other position, just frustrated that people are out there playing FF who don't believe in trades yet stockpile players on their bench.
