Our league has a Wed. and Sat. processing day for Waivers.
We have to put in our bids for free agents and they process on those days.
I picked up Palmer on Wed. and they didn't announce Boller's start until Saturday afternoon.
We cannot pickup anyone after 12:00 on Saturday.

I really dislike the pay league's (#1 and #2) waiver type. Hence why I'm not playing a DST against you this week.

I had the choice between Cassell or Palmer on Sunday. I went with Cassell. 2 points vs -2 in our league.

meh. ....I also love how a team can score 28 points in a game, and their QB nets you 2, and their #1 superstar WO nets you 7 points.

Also, waivers shouldn't reset every week - that constantly sucks for me since I can't get any "decent" handcuffs off waivers. I'll need to pay more attention next year before going in in the pay leagues, heh.

I didn't understand it then, waivers should be on one day and then WIDE open. You said "should we make it one day or two" and since everyone voted two, I assumed they would be open wednesday, and then also open Saturday.

The way you explained it didn't make any sense. What if you picked up a defense wednesday, but another guy overpaid and paid 20$ for the one you wanted to grab. So you tried again Saturday with another defense and again, some other guy paid more

Then you're screwed. So at the very least, it should be open after Saturdays go through in case this happens.

Do a better job of explaining what you're talking about and maybe then we would know. Instead we had no clue what we were getting into until it started

I'll add - I've been doing FF for 5+ years now and have been in more than one league every year. This is the first and only time I've seen it where if the guys you tried to get didn't pan out you're just screwed.

I did this exact thing in league #1, and unfortunately I can't manage my team very well from my phone so that made it a bitch. Went on Saturday night thinking it was open, but NO. WTF, I thought you'd at least make it open after the second waiver wire. That'd be my mistake for assuming, but I thought I posted anyways that I didn't like the change.

You'er not screwed, you just pick a second and a third option, dropping the same guy to make room. It's obvious you can be outbid at any time, why would you leave it to chance like that? If it's unclear, then ask for clarification, but it's not my fault if your brain can't handle the concept of FAAB and having claims processed twice per week.

How was I supposed to know that I didn't understand it? I thought I did understand it, maybe thats what you don't get.

Obviously I understand it now, but if you don't do any waiver changes until after a few weeks into the season you didn't know that you were supposed to do it that way.

Like I said, every single fantasy league in the entire world leaves it open if you do two waiver pickups. Every single one ever.

So what, we're supposed to think that you're doing it completely differently than everyone else in some asinine manner? Makes sense.

If someone drops a player on Saturday at the waiver process, everyone in the league should have a chance to pick them up... hence the waiting until Wednesday to pickup players.

I wish you could pickup any FAs that were not recently dropped. It might be a setting.

It sounds like numerous people have been screwed by this.

It was discussed in detail, we even talked about the fact that it would not be open for Sunday. Heck someone even posted in the first week about the fact that he could not pick someone up on Sunday morning.

So yeah, I guess if you were not paying attention at all, even though posted it as an important thing for discussion, and you posted during it all, how you could not understand.

Yeah you can hedge your bets in case you can't get the guy you want. I had like 5 waiver options for the same guy...since I spent all my coin on Hernandez @ TE thinking Gates would be out all year, I'm forced to go with $1 bids all the time....

I'm the one who wanted an open window after the initial waivers too, but caved in to the current system. I learned to live around it. Although it did bite me in the ass again since I didn't have a replacement for Janikowski (status was uncertain and I was not dropping the #1 kicker).
