Oh, and no need to come off as a dick KT - we weren't really insulting you but then you decided to start calling us stupid. Don't take it so personally.

Anyway, I apologize to anyone who felt it was unclear, but from the discussion in the thread it seemed everyone understood. Apparently that was not the case. I was not wanting the change made with the intent of having people screwed, it was just to make for better use of FAAB and closer team management. I was not trying to impose anything on the group and am always up for discussion on any of those changes, I just thought it was understood across the board. Again, sorry to those who felt hoodwinked or whatever, that was certainly not the intention, I just want everyone to have fun.

Argh, I knew I should have played Doucet or Torrey Smith. I have a feeling Torrey Smith will have a 80+ yard game and a TD tonight.

I didn't really have good options for this bye week My opponent had DeMarco Murray, so this week is a loss for me.

It was discussed in detail, we even talked about the fact that it would not be open for Sunday. Heck someone even posted in the first week about the fact that he could not pick someone up on Sunday morning.

So yeah, I guess if you were not paying attention at all, even though posted it as an important thing for discussion, and you posted during it all, how you could not understand.

The only limiting factor that I didn't take into account when I "agreed" to it was I didn't realize with the way your leagues are set up how much impact your shallow bench setup actually has in this scenario. If the benches were deeper, it would mitigate the impact that not being able to pick up a last-minute sub actually has. Live and learn. It hasn't impacted me terribly to date. I'm sure it will eventually, torn ACL after torn ACL.

Not you, just Zen. He's so damn confrontational he gets under my skin sometimes. Sorry for that anyway. I'm super busy at work and was responding in-between dealing with nonsense here at the office. Everything was getting my goat.

The whole thing kind of caught me off guard too, coming out half way through the season.

I'd probably always play Doucet over Smith unless Smith was going up against one of the league's worst pass defenses (JAX isn't one of them).

I had Billy Cundiff going in and only 2.5 points behind. Damn you Billy Cundiff for missing that field goal and sucky Baltimore offense

It would make sense, I'm sorry to say I'm befitting from this. I had Bush in this week simply because KC can't stop the run and figured he might be good for a touchdown. Still, if you have both I don't see why it can't be flipped. Maybe just one handcuff per team.

One of my leagues does do that for QB. You draft a "Team QB" instead of a player. It's nice but I don't think I would want it for other positions. Part of being good at FF is drafting players who won't get hurt and being lucky.

How was I supposed to know that I didn't understand it? I thought I did understand it, maybe thats what you don't get.

Obviously I understand it now, but if you don't do any waiver changes until after a few weeks into the season you didn't know that you were supposed to do it that way.

Like I said, every single fantasy league in the entire world leaves it open if you do two waiver pickups. Every single one ever.

So what, we're supposed to think that you're doing it completely differently than everyone else in some asinine manner? Makes sense.

not mine. our ~8-year league has been doing this type of waiver pickup for about 4 years now, and we love it.

learn to adjust.

also--team defense leagues are gay.

1. Mendenhall for Jeremy Maclin
2. Mendenhall for Stevie Johnson
3. Neither

I need help at WR. My other RBs are: Michael Turner, Fred Jackson, Ahmad Bradshaw. They will all be done with their bye weeks after week 8 (Turner has a bye). In our league (PPR), Maclin as more points than Johnson and I have Vick as my QB. Mendenhall has been disappointing this year to say the least. Let me know what you guys think.

renamed my team to CJ0K. What a piece of garbage.

He got paid. He doesn't care anymore. Smoke weed, play Xbox, do whatever it is that he does because he obviously doesn't care about football.

Lesson learned for me a second time. I picked up Shaun Alexander the year after he got that big contract and he did the same thing.

Uhhh huhh, and after I start to forgive you after the IM you send me.

Frankly, I wasn't even talking to you and you decided to butt in and call me stupid. We were talking shit about your crappy format amongst ourselves

need some serious help this week. A lot of my key players are on BYE this week and I need to acquire some replacements. Sorry for all the screenshots. if people have a problem with them, I'll replace them with links

Here is my team. Rodgers, Forte, White, and my D on BYE. I have Hasselbeck as a backup QB, and can sub Stewart for Forte and Breaston for White, but I wanna know if there are better options available on Waivers (#1 Waiver position right now). Waiver order is move to last position after claim. So if I make multiple waiver transactions this week, only the 1st one is guaranteed.

Available QBs, anything better than Hasselbeck?

Available RBs, anything better than Stewart? McGahee is out. Should I pick up Moreno? Should this be my #1 waiver transaction?

Available WRs

Available D/ST. I dont want to drop Jets D to pick up another D though. I'm afraid if I drop Jets, someone else will pick them up and I'll be stuck with a crappier D. Who can I drop to pick up another D for this week? Bush?

Santana Moss injury will give him more looks, Fred Davis will benefit well too if he's available - consider him as well

I have Fred Davis already. Makes sense now why I see his %own up 31.8%.

Is it wise to have both Fred Davis and Jabar Gaffney on my team? Either Gaffney will get the points, or Davis...but not both simultaneously. Or am I overthinking this?

Suddenly I feel like a fucking GENIUS for drafting Jabar Gaffney...

haha yea I have him too, I hope his numbers go up.

Of course, I also have Nate Washington, and I thought the same thing about him when Britt tore his ACL... I have not seen jack shit from Washington yet.
