Anyone else consistently get bit in the ass trying to play the match-up game? Didn't play Beannie this week because he was questionable and he was playing a tough run D in Bal. 14+ points from him. Played it safe with Tate (definitely playing, had the better match-up) and ended up with 2 points. Still managed to somehow win the week though.

Note to self: don't play it safe, don't play the match-up, just go with the better player.

The thing that REALLY sucks is I was so close to grabbing Ringer before Sunday's game just in case Johnson stunk it up again. Well, now I may not be able to get him on waivers. Fantastic.

but Rashard Mendenhall has played his last game on my roster. Its apparent he blew his load last year and the Steelers just rode him into the ground and he's got nothing left now. They pass when in the red zone, and weave in Moore and Redman a lot. I thought I was getting an elite RB steal with Mendhenhall as my #2 pick in our draft... I was wrong

Brady is pissing me off. I'm thinking of offering up trades for a top-tier WR or RB, or maybe middle tier of both, since I'm weak at those positions.

we have 2 RB, 1 RB/WR, and 3 WR positions.

here is what I have:

Turner
B Wells

Bowe
Boldin
Washington
Jason Hill

my backups have all been terrible, and aside from Turner/Bowe, with the occasional contribution of Beanie, everyone else is useless.

Either Cassel or Palmer would be my QB if I trade the Brady, so I'm wondering if it makes sense for me to take the likely hit at QB if I can legitimately improve the situation at 2 or more positions...

Yeah, I'm almost ready to throw in the towel with Mendenhall as well. Almost as disappointing this season as Chris Johnson and Peyton Hillis.

Methinks there's something going on behind the scenes there... but I sure as hell ain't gonna vote against that one given the guy that's losing Jackson/Wells is #1 in the league and I'm #2.

Week 6: Lost by .3 points
Week 7: Won by 1.4 points
Week 8: Lost by .9 points

GAH! I've got the 2nd highest points scored in a 12 team league and 3rd highest points against. I'm 3-5 overall. This is last year all over again.

Fuck head to head. Fuck it right in the ass.

I'm sitting about 40 points out of first place in my overall points league.

do you guys have 6-team leagues or something?

how do so many people manage to get top-tier starting WR and RB on the same team, and then complain about who to start?

we're lucky to get more than one top-tier WR--for me It's Bowe and uh...Boldin? lol.

everyone else was first week FA or waiver later--Washington, Hill, Titus Young (recently dropped), various spot starters...

We have 14 teams in our league.
