Got part of my M's opener prediction right, that is the A's scored 2 runs. However, M's scored 6 and Felix pitched a complete game FTW. Felix allowed only 5 hits and no walks on 108 pitches. Very efficient once he got through the first couple of innings. All of the east coast baseball fans probably don't get to see Felix pitch very often, hell the game started @ 10:00 PM eastern time, and just ended a little while ago.
Never lived in the east, but I tell you it sure is nice having games start @ 10:00 AM on Sundays during the NFL season, and 1:00 east coast baseball games start @ 10:00 AM as well. I don't really care about the east coast espn bias talk, but as to watching sports it would seem that the Pacific time zone has it better. Am I missing something to this rather inconsequential topic, as I said I never have lived back east so I can only infer by adding 3 hours.
LOL at the White Sox trying to give this game away... luckily they had a 14-0 lead before giving up 9 runs...
edit: wtf, its 15-10 White Sox over Indians... white sox were up 14-0...
Yea, I dropped Wainwright. And how does the pitching work? None of my pitchers have played, yet their team has...
Rangers are off to a good start, dropped 21 runs on the Redsox in two games and take 2-0 lead, going for the sweep tomorrow. GO RANGERS!!!
mets are off to nice start this year, leading 4-0 today and won yesterday
hopefully phillies slip up this year and their age catches themUnfortunately for them, they're still in the same division as the Phils.
Mets are looking good against Florida, more important than the Phils looking good against Houston to be honest.
I think if the Phils fail to make the playoffs, it will be due to a combination of lack of offense and the Braves having a great year.
their i fixed it for you. only thing that can beat the phillies this year is themselves. they have some key players that are getting older.Yeah, as a Phils fan I don't fear the Mets or really even the Marlins. If anyone takes the division away from the Phils it'll be the Phils, imho.
