You saw Clemente in person, showing off his amazing gun no less! Very lucky, he really was one of a kind, hell look at how he died: plane crash while doing charity work. Dave Parker had a hell of an arm too, did he and Clemente ever share outfield duties? I'm guessing probably not, Parker played for the Pirates after the Reds?
Hmm, I'd have to think hard to remember all the ones I was there live for.
Buehrle's flip to first to win play of the year on opening day last year.
Game 163 victory against the twinkies
Fixed!Man was that an incredible play. One of my other favorite plays was in his perfect game that catch made by DeWayne Wise. Lets go to the video.
note: keep watching after to see a better over the shoulder grab by Austin Jackson (that got no talk because of the eventual outcome) to preserve Galarraga's 28-out perfect game.
I don't think Boston is freaking out just yet. Tampa, however, just might not be what it used to be.
I usually go with the mute and listen to the radio audio, otherwise I would stab Joe Buck regardless of whether or not he stole my car.In re: The continuing problem of having to put up with the ceaseless, mindless, endlessly irritating blather of national network announcers when watching your team on a network hosted game, I have two questions:
1. Is there a way to lure them into attempting to steal your car?
2. May you then, in good conscience, shoot them?

Nice to see Hamels having a great outing today (so far) after coming off maybe the worst game (inning?) he's ever played.
I don't hate joe buck, but I do the same ting. For me: It's not that he's bad (in terms of noticing what's happening, describing it) he's just sooo borring. Radio calls are so much better (Except for being like 2 seconds ahead of my TV)
Fantastic pitching from the Phils, great starter, reliever, and closer. Nice to see.
Oye, watched the shelling of the Red Sox on tv at sports clips. Frustrated with mlb.com's blackout rules. I'd totally subscribe to the service otherwise. No way I'm paying comcast $65 a month just to watch the White Sox.
You don't have cable TV? Just wondering what your issue with the blackout rule is? I can't say I'm a huge fan either, as I'd much rather watch my local feed than the national coverage, but at least I can still listen to my local audio even during a TV blackout. Last weekend my Phillies game wasn't on the air because Fox was showing the NYY/BOS game instead, but like I said, at least I got local audio so I could listen to the radio broadcast. Not too bad really.
