Which of butler's calls are you suggesting he didn't deserve? I didn't seen any erroneous calls. Wade's calls were probably low, but aren't why the heat lost.
There will always be 50-50 calls. Usually the home team gets favor on both ends on those calls. I don't think that is right, but it happens with a staggering majority of time. When you see a home team shoot less FTs it is almost always when there is a huge difference in aggression between the teams. The shot chart shows that wasn't the case, and in fact the Heat had a slight advantage in paint shots, especially in the restricted area.
In quite a few cases the contact that was called on one end wasn't called on the other. Like I've said a few times, you shouldn't see the FT disparity between Robinson/Butler and Lebron/Wade given how much each were in the paint. 20 to 9 is a huge difference.
If the Heat hit their open shots at anywhere near their normal average then that FT disparity doesn't impact the game. That didn't happen so it suddenly became a huge factor. When you have friendly officiating like that, you need to take the game. The Bulls did.
All I'm saying is that they won't have that good fortune often.
