I thought this would be a six game series. Gasol and Randolph disappeared this series.

LeBron James and Tony Parker are the best players in the playoffs.

Disappeared would imply they didn't show up, no? It had nothing to do with the defense by the Spurs big?

You double team. Fucking ridiculous to let LeBron operate against George in the paint without the double. Lebron is just a mismatch regardless anyways. They need to double and hope that the shooters miss. Good luck with that. Ray Allen has made a career of shooting the ball with deadly accuracy.

Well you hit on what I meant - that adjustment doesn't necessarily win you the game anyways. If Allen gets hot you may give up even more points.

You mean the same Lakers who literally made the last playoff spot because another team LOST their last game? The Lakers were by far the worst team to make the playoffs. The west might be deeper, but the Lakers & Warriors aren't exactly good examples. The Heat would sweep both of them with ease imo.

The Lakers are still better than the Bucks (Miami's first round opponent), who squeaked into the playoffs with a record of 38-44, good for 11th seed out West. At least the Lakers were over .500. No, they weren't all that great, and they were terrifically overrated all year, but Miami's path through the playoffs has still been comparatively easier than the Spurs, and they're struggling more (which seems to be from a lack of discipline more than anything else).

Birdman will avg 2 points and 4 boards a game against Duncan and Splitter.

He makes a living off of drop off dishes and put backs. He gets those chances because the bigs get pulled away on help defense. That's not going to change against SA. When Bosh is out 20+ feet hitting jumpers one of them is going to be out high and if he dumps it to Lebron high in the post it's going to pull a double since SA doesn't have a great individual 1-3 position defender. Leaves a lot of room under the hoop for a birdman lay in.

Speaking of birdman here's a cool photo of his transmutation through the years: BIRDMAN over the years Apparently he went to college at "Fayetteville"? Where the hell is that and how did he make it into the NBA from there?

I hate his gaudy neck/upper chest tattoos. The rest are fine. He's a freakshow now. Certainly playing well during this playoff run.

He went to Blinn JC. Fayetteville was an NBDL team.
