I know you are just here to troll tonight, but the 80s as a peak of basketball idea is a terrible joke. Aside from the obvious lack of athleticism in the 80s (and 90s) you had trouble double teaming players. Defenses were very vanilla because you couldn't double without the ball. This allowed for and encouraged one one one play instead of team oriented offense.

When you force ISOs from the offense, someone who is superior in skillset and physical ability would do better. Not worse.

Since you are rooting against the Heat you should be happy with that call. It was a clear "we can call Hibbert for the foul or just let Miami take the ball out" call. You see that at least twice a game all season long. Don't tell me you would prefer the call to have been off of Miami but a foul on Hibbert in that situation.

Tough loss but consistent with the series. However there's no room for the tit-for-tat response these teams have been playing with to date and now the pacers must go for two tits in a row or they get bounced.

The Heat players are getting some wide open shots but aren't hitting them. At least nowhere near the rate they were hitting shots over the long 82 game season. Allen and Battier in particular are struggling despite having nearly all their shots come from wide open looks.

The Pacers are doing their best to capitalize on that but just don't have the horses to keep up. Vogel has shifted to a shorter bench as the series has progressed and it is showing in the energy of his starters.
