I just hope Crawford isn't reffing (m)any of them. He just isn't objective around the Spurs/Duncan.
And Harden not showing up.
And Westbrook playing way too much HeroBall. But the defense did suck. Brooks kept Perkins on the floor faaaaar too much and Miami simply ran past him or got him out of position too easily. And Durant's defense was laughable.
Just checked the tv listings. Idiots won't be playing till about 915 tonight, god stern can't leave soon enough.
Poor move, IMO.

West Coast FTW?
Durant needs to pull a Kobe and come back just jacked! Remember when Kobe shaved off the afro and came back all muscled up?

Should have been 7pm Central. Do they really want the bar type fans? So what if it starts early? If I'm the nba I'm catering to the family man with the kids that play basketball. Who gives a rats ass about the douches hanging out at the bar gambling on the outcome.

7 pm central = 5 pm pacific. That would mean "family men" in California and other states would be commuting home during the first quarter, at least.
Honestly, I've complained about CB enough times offline but it's easy to say right after the ECF when you're a long (vs wide) power forward and your head coach just threw you up against a much bigger Roy Hibbert. For comparison's sake, LeBron James is about 25 pounds heavier than either Tim Duncan or Splitter. The Heat are not gonna be -20 in rebounds night after night.Splitter is a true center. Sure him and Bosh are nearly the same weight and height but Splitter can really be a solid nba center against legitimate big men. Bosh gets pushed around like a bitch down low.
So after Pop features Splitter in post-up sets, he'll bring in Matt Bonner as a defensive adjustment? Where do you come up with this stuff? Look, I'm not trying to dog on Splitter at all, but he's just not going to be nearly the match-up nightmare that Hibbert was in the last series.Splitter is pretty quick as well - there's a reason why you very rarely saw a help defender if Splitter picked up a guard with the P&R. He has a lot of length, which should help deter Bosh on the jump shot. If you do see Bosh "abusing" Splitter in the paint, odds are Diaw will come in or Bonner.

Any other coaching gems you want to share with us?
Perhaps you missed it when Bonner and Diaw played fabulous defense off the bench on Zach Randolph. Or maybe you disappeared like he did.
Was it that scary Bonner and the awesome Diaw played great D on Randolph or did Randolph just choke and couldn't shoot a ball into a pool? Randolph looked like garbage....
Considering he was a beast in the previous series and was their go to man for the season, I doubt he choked. Popovich had a great game plan and it worked out beautifully. I'm not saying Diaw or Bonner are elite defenders, but they handled one of the top centers in the game how and when they needed to.
