Man that sucks for spurs...all they had to do was make their free throws. Good luck now in game seven.

funny how something as simple as a freethrow to make or break you at the end of the day. I think the spurs are too banged up for this rodeo, another year of insufferable miami heat fans to deal with.

Nice OT. I was sort of sad to see how sloppy SA played in Q4, but a W is a W is a W.

Hopefully SA steps up in G7. Back and forth this whole series.

Wow. +7 on FTs on the road. Wow doug.

Go fuck yourself, you blind, retarded dipshit. It's not about how many calls, it's about being consistent, WHICH THEY WEREN'T. Joey Crawford SHOULD NOT HAVE FUCKED THE PACE AT THE END BY THAT REVIEW. Put me on ignore so you don't have to see my posts.

This is what DrPizza said to you in February:
"Not sure why the NBA brings out the worst in you; you've excessively thrown out personal insults in the NBA threads in the past few years. Results is the same. -Admin DrPizza"

So here we are again and, again you are the only one throwing out the insults.

And the results are indeed the same. See you in a few days.

It was like a competition to see who could play worse. Miami played poorly, and SA played under the floor Q4+.

That was a free TO to set up a play for the Spurs. Any "pace" was an electric crowd and a huge three carrying momentum.

I felt the biggest momentum shift in the fourth was Wade coming in and killing the Heat offense and allowing the Spurs to collapse Lebron in the paint again.

Well that and the bricks, many of them wide open. SA just flat folded in the 4th, not even really contested.

This. I hope someone in the Heat front office strangles Spoelstra for this ridiculous decision. They had everything going for them and Wade killed it.

I wonder how much Pop shortening his bench contributed to that. He ran his main five further than he had all Finals. That and Pop not having Duncan in there for defensive rebounds really hurt.

Ugh, was hoping the finals would be over and that I wouldn't have to see or hear those ugly heat fans and their boring plain white shirts. I hate their PA announcer too as well as the stupid sing along to that zombie nation song. Buncha douches.

Finally looking at the boxscore for the first time all night...

Ginobili with 8 TOs!

That and the Spurs shooting 28% on threes were huge. The were Heat staying at home on the shooters and hoping Duncan was still 37 years old and couldn't keep the foot on the gas. Big ones on Spo to ride out that hot start by Duncan and keep on the shooters.

yes, but like JVG said, Spo really doesn't have much of a choice there. Can he really "bench" the face of the franchise of 10 seasons? Mike Miller had played a lot of consecutive minutes, so he was due for a rest anyway. I'm not defending Spo because D-Wade clearly mucked up the Heat's chances, but I'm not sure Spo has an option.

As for officiating, the refs were clearly letting everything go in OT. There was one exception when LeBron grabbed a defensive rebound late. I felt the first three quarters were slightly biased against the home team, which obviously usually gets preferential treatment.

I'm biased, but I don't think it was a terrible no-call at the end. Allen actually had hand on the ball before coming down on the arm. On the replay, it looked like Manu took 3 full steps but it always looks like that for him.

That was the best game of the Finals so far. Epic shifts in the last few minutes... Heat leading by 5, let SA go on a run, have to nail clutch shots in the last minute just to stay in it, miss those shots but get offensive rebounds and clutch 3s, force OT, back and forth there as well... Jesus. Duncan looked about as excellent as he's ever looked in the first half, but disappeared in the second. James looked like he was asleep until the fourth quarter. Danny Green missed more threes than he made... MADNESS!

Hopefully Game 7 is just as exciting.
