Well looks like it will be time to start making phone calls to try and get game four tickets for the Finals. I'll finally be able to see The King in person.

Fortunately the Spurs/Heat matchup won't rely as much on officiating as both play fast and move the ball. They aren't gonna foul every time down the floor and hope the refs stop calling it. Nor will we be subjected to this baloney idea that Hibbert has quicker feet than Lebron.

I keep saying it cause it is true, but Wade will be the wild card in the Finals.

Did Hibbert run off the court before the game was over? I didn't really see that.

That was a beat down the likes of what we saw the Pacers give the Heat a few nights ago. D-wade showed up big...Bosh still stunk up the joint - But the Heat played very well.

Props to the Pacers and their Coach Vogel though, very very impressive.

The Heat actually have been doing that most of this series. The officiating has been terrbily inconsistent. Not Lakers/Kings or Lakers/Blazers bad, but bad.

I guess the Pacers figured they could keep doing what they had been doing for six games and still slide with it. The officiating finally started to come in line with the play on the court and the result was what you expect.

The Heat beat the Pacers in points in the paint all series but found themselves down multiple FT attempts game after game. I stopped keeping track of it due to my frustration with the officiating and I swore off talking about it here. At that point the Heat were +10 in the paint after four games but nearly -50 in FTs attempted. It was disgusting.

The worst part is that I don't know how many times I'll be able to go back and watch this series again over the years without blowing a blood vessel in my brain.

Hopefully we'll get a good six game series in the Finals so there isn't too long of a drab basketball-less summer.

Hmmm I wonder if they'll keep not calling fouls on the defensive players when they jump "straight up" in the air....maybe if Tim Duncan is defending.. anyone else - highly doubt it

I'm more hung up on Lebron sporting the red Nike Foamposites in the postgame interview with the TNT crew. I was just thinking about scoring some of those earlier today but the hefty pricetag made me iffy. Sign from heaven?

I am shocked... SHOCKED... that in game 7 both Hibbert and George were in foul trouble. SHOCKED.

Yeah, David Stern should enlist the help of George RR Martin to script the outcomes so they aren't quite so obvious.

Not the game 7 I was hoping to watch lol. I don't mind the Pacers losing but I wish it could have gone down more like game 1, they just looked like they were disoriented all night.

I stopped watching the game after the 3rd quarter and took my dog on a walk. I walked thru about 6 streets in my neighborhood and I was shocked at how many TV's still had the game on.

The NBA needs rivalries like this and new superstars like Paul George. I am already excited for next year. The eastern conference is finally getting stronger and Miami actually has some legit competition now. Hopefully my lowly Suns turn it around next year and at least make the playoffs. A man can dream right?

the series was close because spoelstra was a dumbass coach who stuck with his trappng the guards defense for 6 games.
