Not sure what you mean because he's hit game winning 3 pointers but you claim he doesn't though? Did he hold a press conference saying he's no longer doing this? I'm confused where you got this information and when did he change?

I've seen him hold it at halftime with 2+ seconds left because he couldn't get close enough, whereas most players throw it up.

So he won't take a crazy half court half time shot that doesn't really matter? I guarantee if the game was down to .8 and they were down by 2 he would shoot a 3. And it's kind of unfair to compare him to players who have no record to think about.

It's great to see Manu bounce back. He's electric when he's playing well, which, sadly, he hasn't done much in the playoffs. Fantastic effort from Green as well; that guy is a machine.

they should, but why would they. if they can show they can beat the Heat...they probably have at least another year in them to delay lebron's not one, not two, not three, not fo, etc. Duncan looks as good as years ago, just needs a little more rest. With the Heat's runs, I have to wonder how much is Spo's doing or not. I think he's getting totally eclipsed by popavich in this series, but the heat have talent to obscure it

I'm thinking this could turn out to be one of the best finals ever, two heavyweights taking turns knocking out the opponent. If it goes 7, it will be a candidate.

And with so many future HOF'ers, including coaching, it's surreal that the mvp so far has been little known Danny Green. (however if coaches could get the series mvp award, pops and spo are both worthy imo.)

Miami was down by nearly 20 in the middle of the 4th quarter and allowed 60% shooting for the game. For a team with a supposedly "elite defense," no way you can say the Heat played well. LeBron had a poor second half, and Bosh didn't play particularly well but it was still a waste of 66 points by the Big-3 and 21 from Ray Allen.

The Spurs starting 5 poured in 107!

I think JVG at one point mentioned that Popovich had instructed his guys not to leave Mike Miller open. It's unfathomable that Spo hasn't told his defenders the same thing about Danny Green, even if much of Miami's defensive style is quick rotation. There are always a few breakdowns, but the fact that Green's defender isn't glued to him is a big mistake.

Unrelated, Norris Cole getting burned time after time is also disgusting. It's hard to see how Spo and a somewhat-struggling LeBron can piece together two wins right now, short of playing absolute lockdown defense that we know they're capable of. "Turning on the switch" is totally overrated.

I've enjoyed the finals but certainly don't think they are great or "one of the best". Game 1 was great but every game since has not been close one way or another, all double digit victories. No drama.

Even though I'm not a Spurs fan I think Parker and Ginobli will have a big bounce back game tonight.
