The one other bad thing about this game/series is that my facebook news feed will be and has been flooded with everyone posting the same shit; all the while they are sitting there thinking that what they posted is unique and that everyone else only reads/follow them.

It is a known fact that if the Heat wins, the league will make a lot more money selling Heat championship gear, Dwayne Wade stuff, Chris Bosh stuff, and Lebron James stuff, and even broadcasting time/stuff.

No way they can make the same or more money on NBA stuff if the Spurs win...

Letting Ginoboli get the last touch on every posession in the final minute of the game instead of your best player = That is just asking to lose.

Spurs are a great team. That kid Leonard is going to be a star. Ginobli is done...too bad I liked his game.

Too bad they are done.. too old. Not sure who will step up to challenge Miami. On paper it is the Lakers but they seem the same way.. old

I seriously can't think of anything worse...having to choose between the Lakers and the Heat.

I hope my Magic can pull a few moves and develop some players to beat this team I am forced to call NBA champions.

This is what I had expected from LeBron. I was surprised how close the game was until the end. It felt like the Heat were playing way better. Great series, especially the last 2 games.

Incredible series. Couldn't have been written any better. Glad the Heat won. They actually looked like they really wanted to win tonight. They were hitting the offensive boards hard. Curious to see what happens to the Heat after this.

At least Stern is gone soon so someone else besides the Lakers and Heat can win again.

Is that going to magically make other players better somehow? Unless James gets injured and Wade and Bosh are unable to play. Nobody's beating the Heat, Stern isn't the reason they won, the fact they have the best player on the planet and a monster bench is why. Heat will easily 3 peat, I'm willing to make a PayPal bet with anyone who thinks otherwise

A healthy Wade is needed for a 3peat. They barely squeezed it out without a legitimate and reliable second scorer for Lebron. Both the Pacers and Spurs were able to focus their defense on just him.

Assuming they stay relatively injury free, especially come playoff time, they should be back to being the 27 game streak team they were earlier in the season.

I hate Lebron, Wade, Bosh, hell the whole damn Heat organization and their fans. Seriously? I feel so bad for Timmy! Damn you Manu Turnoboli.

They gotta keep Wade, he's Mr Miami. But I think they would do well to trade Bosh and Chalmers away. Who's going to want them, though? - Mike Miller is not a guy who should be on the court for 20 or more minutes, he should come off the bench every once in a while to drop some threes in. He's always scrambling on defense. So despite winning the championship, changes need to be made, and they can get substantially better.

Epic series. I was sad the Spurs lost, but I was happy we got some great games out of it, and LeBron really delivered in the last two games. Wonderful, wonderful stuff all around, and a series I'll remember for a long while.

Chalmers is a starting guard making just $4M (team option). I think some team would want him, but I don't think we've seen enough from Norris Cole for the Heat to send Chalmers packing. Although Miller has been frequently mentioned as an amnesty candidate, he's making about the league average. His problem has been injuries have kept him off the court but as he showed in the playoffs, he's a valuable shooter when he's getting playing time. He could be expendable because the Heat have Ray Allen and Shane Battier.

I suspect Micky Arison will elect to keep the Big-3 together for one more rodeo, and pay whatever the inflated luxury tax will be. I'm of the opinion that on the Heat, Chris Bosh is massively overpaid but I don't see any team willing to absorb the $60M remaining on his contract. Game 6 "heroics" aside, certainly not after the donut he laid last night. If Bosh opts out in 2014, I imagine the Heat would politely show him the door.

All bets are off next summer though as LeBron is likely to opt out, and it'll be interesting how he, Wade and Bosh decide to handle potential free agency in a much harsher luxury tax environment. I imagine LeBron wants to stay in Miami, but who know what happens if Wade and Bosh decline their opt-outs and James gets bowled over by another team.

Miami has an advantage that James can recruit a solid role player with peanuts for the lure of a ring, but otherwise I wouldn't say they can get substantially better. The new CBA hamstrings all the big spending teams and unless you're Mikhail Prokhorov or the Lakers desperately wanting DH back, the $100M payroll will become a rarity for a half decade.

Great series and great game. Was rooting for the Spurs but Miami's defense held up, Parker and Green just couldn't get themselves going. Ginobli had some nice drives, if he could have just avoided the bad passes he'd have done more than enough. Also Leonard really showed up for the entire series, I hope he continues to improve and really becomes one of the league's rising stars.

Curious to see what the Spurs do in the off season. I think they could play for another year or two competitively if they chose to do so.

Miami's problem is they have Bosh, whose contract puts them in an insane luxury tax area.

Though, I've heard that it wouldn't be a problem if the heat get some type of big media deal that teams like the Lakers or Yankees or other huge teams get. That revenue could cover the luxury tax.

Has anybody seen info on such a deal?

Bosh should be amnesty'd.. he finished game 7 with zero points!!

The just went to their third NBA championship in 3 years, winning 2 of them, and he's best buds with Lebron. I think it makes sense to get more revenue, rather than breaking things up.

That's the end of SA big 3 IMO. Duncan and Ginobili should retire. They don't have another finals run in them. They can hang on and be shells of themselves or retire after what was a successful season.

Just because the money is there doesn't mean the owner wants to spend it.

They can either continue to make millions of dollars for playing a game, or they can retire winners...

Just because the money is there doesn't mean the owner wants to spend it.

You gotta spend money to make money. Without LBJ, getting a huge media deal would be impossible. Firing LBJ's friend, who just helped earn Miami 2 straight championships might piss LBJ off. LBJ has history of moving...

Great series. I'm not sure the Heat can do it again, but its hard to argue with two rings in two years.

Congrats to Miami, that was a very fun series. The Spurs are anything but boring, it's just that they had to play against very dull/inferior teams in their previous Finals' series. This time it was a much more even and entertaining matchup.

Onto the off-season rumor mill!
