If the 9rs can just keep churning away at the clock and keep Brady off the field I may actually sneak my way into the finals.

well, at least picking Wilson over Brady this week worked out for me.

...too bad I lost my playoff spot after last week's loss (4-way tie for 4th, I lose out; but I didn't lose because of Brady v Wilson)

I just got wtf Brady'd all in the 4th quarter. I went from thinking there was no way I could lose to there is now no way I'm going to win. Ahh. Fantasy football.

Dear Michael Crabtree,

Thanks.

Sincerely,

KLin

Now I need the Titans D to shut out the jets with some turnovers tomorrow night and score we 12+ points.

If they give up beau coup points, that means more chances for a return TD. WE get a point per 25 return yards too

Even with goose eggs from Danaria Alexander and Lawrence Tynes along with a not so stellar performance from the Detroit Lions D/ST I still crushed my opponent this week with big thanks to Drew Brees, Adrian Peterson and Julio Jones. Adrian Peterson continues to impress me every week and has no doubt carried many teams into playoff births this year.

Something to keep an eye on (should be kind of obvious) for leagues with week 17 championships. If the Texans win or the Patriots & Broncos lose then the Texans will clinch the #1 seed and we could see them sit or limit their starters.

In the NFC the falcons will clinch the #1 seed with a win or a 49ers & Packers loss

Somehow I made the finals in the main AT league; not sure how that happened. I had won my match up before Brady and Gore even took the field and that's with a zero from Danario. Very strange. Actually seemed like an extremely odd week all around.

Now in my other semi-final (PPR league) I am up 4.78 point with Chris Johnson to go, opponent has Shonn Greene. Going to be a nail-biter, though Johnson has looked pretty awful recently. :|

It was an odd week in the NFL, one of the weirdest in recent memory. There were 3 shutouts, 2 of them being huge blowouts, and a bunch of lopsided games. This week no doubt threw a monkey wrench into a bunch of leagues, I mean look at some of these score:

Saints - 41 Bucs - 0
Falcons - 34 Giants - 0
Panthers - 31 Chargers - 7
Cardinals - 31 Lions - 10
Dolphins - 24 Jaguars - 3

I am sure there were a bunch of people expecting good games from Victor Cruz, Hakeem Nicks, Eli Manning, Doug Martin, Josh Freeman, Danario Alexander, etc..... only to get goose eggs or close to it

Yeah I was watching that Giants-Falcons game and could see playoff teams going down in flames just from that. Yikes.

The guy who I face in the finals put up 180 points, and that's with a goosegg from one of his players. OH well, I'm just very pleased to be in the finals. Never thought I'd make it but have won 7 in a row now by sticking with my players. I've made the finals every year now 3 years running. That's not luck, that's skill and paying attention to my team. I now probably spend about 4-5 hours a week on fantasy football, could be more. I said going into it I wouldn't let it take much of my time...lulz.

Big lesson learned this year, dump guys who are supposed to have "big upside" who you think "are ready to blow up at any moment" and they never do. Two weeks of crap and you're gone from now on unless you're a stud or I drafted you.

Yep. I was a victim of the Giants, Bucs, and "Give Ray rice more touches but that only being 12 carries" suckfest. With the Bucs you can't even get into field goal territory? Seriously. Blanked by my Kicker.

In another league I'm in I scored a net points total of 6 points between Victor Cruz, Reggie Wayne, Doug Martin and L. Tines (Giants Kicker). WTF??

Careful, you may pull a muscle patting yourself on the back. Good luck in the finals.

I think the Bucs were the craziest result of the week. That was stunning.

In my PPR league I am down by 32 points or so.

I have 104.9 and he has 136.3

I have Chris Johnson and Kenny Brit to play tonight. Need 16 from each of them

What do you guys think? Am I going to get another last minute win?

BTW, if you followed my previous week story I "lost" last week by 0.2 pts when Aaron Hernandez didn't quite get me enough points. Well, stat correction to the rescue on Wednesday night and I find out Thursday I actually won that game by 0.2 pts.

Will I pull off another miracle?

Where the hell was this vaunted Saints defense all season? They made the Bucs offense looks like the keystone cops

Did they get some guys back after Tags removed the bounty suspensions? :hmm:

You've got a chance, but it's slim IMHO.

LOL at the stat correction, it ain't over till the stat correction.

Pray for me spidey. I really need the flying spaghetti monster on this one.

Whoever prayed to whatever god last week that had Aaron Hernandez go off - please do so again this week

May every throw be thrown to Britt and every run be a break away for CJ

So Adrian Peterson has a shot at tying/breaking the NFL record, 293 yards to tie and 2 games to go.

FF does take some skill, but it is still mostly luck. Congrats on making it to the finals 3 years in a row, but the reason this happened is either:

a) statistical anomaly
b) playing against retards
