Seemed to work last year (thanks Slayer202) and will hopefully keep the FFL threads to a minimum....

http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2183534

We drew for our draft order last night (our draft is next Sunday) and I ended up with the 1st round pick...ppr league if that makes a difference...

I know Foster is pretty much the default choice...just wondering if there might be any reason to consider anyone else (right now, Rodgers would be the only other one I would even remotely think about)??? or this just a rhetorical question?

ray rice gets a lot of receptions and has less injury history than foster. also, ray was the top scoring RB in most formats last year (mccoy was tops in td heavy ones). food for thought. disclaimer: I love ray rice.

Next week we have a bunch of ATOT drafts going. I know a few of us are doing all three leagues, Tues, Wed, Thurs. Not sure if there are any others

Foster is pretty much a no brainer unless you are in the "gotta have a first round QB" club. Is it a 10 team league?

kinda fun to go back and read some the 2011 advice

Kolb in ARI
Bradford in STL
Freeman in TB
Hasselbeck in TEN

any of these could be massive sleepers in my opinion

Absolutely no way in hell that happens.

Bradford is a sure thing with McDouchebag as his OC, not so much a "sleeper".

Here are their 2011 Passer Ratings by Rank:
Kolb - 17
Bradford - 30
Freeman - 26
Hassebeck - 16

probably a ton of good stuff like that. There were some heated arguments too, I wonder how they turned out

Tell me about it. In my main league, after being surprised by the late round freeman pick I got in 2010 I decided to reach a little for him last year which turned out to be a disaster. I ended up playing the QB shuffle on the waiver wire all year long, ended up sticking with Tebow late in the season to my dissapointment

i think foster is going to give up more carries to tate than he has to backups before. id still take him above rice, but id consider mccoy too. personally id take foster bc I like the Texans.

I'm on a mandatory keeper league (2 keepers). The first two draft rounds go to the keepers so we "technically" start on the third round. Otherwise it's just a standard snake draft. I have a chance to pick up Brees (yes a guy dropped him because he's keeping Arian Foster and Ray Rice; yes he had a ridiculous team last season). I have a crappy team and am keeping AP and Jordy Nelson. The guy who dropped Brees is offering me HIS 1st, 2nd and 5th round picks for my 1st, 5th and 7th. He really wants Brees back. Thoughts? On one hand, I could really use Breesy. On the other hand, it could be an option to have more picks early to build a solid team.

Does anyone have any good sites for aggregate player rankings for drafting?

I found an awesome one last year that let you choose rankings from specific sites/"experts", and also showed how accurate they have been in the past. Unfortunately, I can't find the site (it was free). I did very well last year with it.

The closest I've found is Cheat Sheet Wizard, but I don't believe this is it.

To right of the player is a link to "view all pro's" and will give you what you are looking for.

What players are left? What # pick do you each have? I think it would be worth it

Ugh is there a way to filter out keepers on ESPN? I know the players that are TAKEN for the most part. Pretty much the top 8-10 RB's are covered, Top 6-8 WR's are covered (minus welker), and (minus drew brees) the top 4-5 QBs are covered.

So the "second tier" QBs like Romo and Eli are available.

I have 1st pick in a snaking draft (so 1, 24,25, 48 etc.). He has 9th pick.

Not sure if there's a way to filter, but I think it depends on who is left. I'm guessing brees is the best guy left? What guys are in the 8-15 range? I think I'd rather have two of those guys than brees

These are gonna be some of the first rounders that are left:
Richardson, Larry Fitzgerald, Mike Wallace, Welker, Sproles, Fred Jackson, Romo, Eli, Lynch, Roddy White, gronkowski, Jamaal Charles, Brandon Marshall, Steven Jackson

Obviously a lot of them will go before me but...

Apete and Nelson really the two best guys you have?

I think I'd make the deal and grab a RB+WR

Ha yeah. On my last seasons roster I had:
Schaub
AP
Maclin
Kenny Britt
Austin Collie

Due to injuries either directly or indirectly (via QB), pretty much all my players went bust. I was never able to recover with pickups. I got a lot of offers to improve my team for AP but I figured i'd keep him in a keeper league.. and then he got hurt.

He accepted an offer where I get his 1st, 2nd, and 4th round and he still gets just my 1st, 5th and 7th. So at least I get an extra 4th instead of a 5th spot. Let's hope it pans out well. He has a monster team right off the bat with Brees, Foster and Rice
