LOL at the trade requests flooding in. My bench QB in a 2 QB league is Matt Schaub who had 28 points this week. I doubt I'll play him except for buys or if he blows up, I drafted him because of the 2 QB slots and his upside. Now folks are looking at their buy weeks and panicking because they don't have QBs.

It's a 14 man league so right off the bat 28 QBs are used up.

QB1 = Matt Ryan
QB2 = Joe Flacco

Folks are trying to give me scrubs, screw that, I'll only take a SOLID WR2/RB2.

Yeah that sucks when you have the second most points of anyone in the league and just happen to get matched up against the guy with the most points. Actually that happened to one of my opponents this week, I had Jamaal Charles.

I have him in one of my leagues. I'm not even mad at him anymore. I'm mad at myself for thinking he'd be anything short of a huge bust. I still had a little hope going into this week. I mean, the Titans got blown out in their first two games and teams don't often run the ball when they're behind. But for them to put up 44 points and he STILL can't rush for more than 30 yards? What a lame ass.

Titans should cut him like I'll be doing soon. One more game like this and he won't even be worth a spot on the bench.

I'm down 16, but he has GB Rogers and Finley tonight. My only prayer is our scoring is -3 per interception (some guys have had negative QB final numbers a few times).

C'mon Aaron! Throw 5 picks!

I've got Charles as well at RB2, about time he started doing something and DAMN what numbers.

In one league I have Chris Johnson, luckily I benched him this week. I have decent RB depth with MJD, Doug Martin and Benjarvus Green-Ellis and McGahee so I am fine.

If he continues to look this bad for 2 more weeks it will be: Dumpsville, population CJ(0.25)k.

Anybody desperate for a RB for a trade?

And I'm continuing to LOL at the trade requests rolling in for QB Schaub, I've got 6 now. Boys, you should have thought about the positions when you drafted.

Idk, I am pretty stacked. I have Rogers as my QB so I am not looking for a backup right now. Im also good at TE with Antonio Gates & Dennis Pitta. WR is fine with Victor Cruz, Mike Wallace, Brand Lloyd, Hakeem Nicks and Kenny Britt. I might just keep him around for the small chance he rebounds. Depending on how my D/ST plays tonight (Seattle) I might just make a trade for an upgrade there, who knows.

Jesus, you're stacked. I'm used to 12+ leagues.

I'm almost in the same spot, I'm very happy with my team but I have gems on the bench I can use to trade. Just have to look at every other team to see what they need. In other words, my team can only get better.

A veteran FF guy (the league commish) told me - "you have to take risks and look upside/long term, especially in the draft, if you don't take risks you will always be middle of the pack" That's starting to make a lot of sense.

This is my only 10 team league, and there are some big time noobs in this league. You would have laughed at how people drafted. Mike Wallace does have a bye so I could trade for a decent WR I guess

Tell me about it, in my main league MJD and Adrian Peterson dropped to me in the 2nd and 4th round respectively . Took a gamble and now I have a solid number 1 & number 2 running back at the moment.

In that same league my friend that got voted to have the best draft is now having a brutal season and will drop to 0-3. He is pretty ticked, he has been very good in this league getting 1st place in 2009,2010 and 2nd in 2011.

Folks thought I was crazy for taking MJD in our auction league. Are you fucking kidding me? It's MJD, and I picked up his backup as well as an out.

I was lauged at for picking getting Michael Bush of Chicago late in the auction for 3 bucks when everybody was out of money. pssh, I was saving my money to get him so nobody had a chance at him.

Colts Fleener is a bust for me, he's gonna get gone. I was watching the game and said "Luck getting more protection, Fleener is doing blocking duties". Low and behold that's what's going on. Thought I had a gem there.

It was a risk, didn't pay off. Now to respond to these trades...I've almost written off week 7 as a loss because of byes.

-ps- Are you a saints fan? I'm always wary of any saints players, they have so many offensive weapons I can't rely on any one to be consistent.

Yes I am a Saints fan during this terrible season for the Saints.

The only people I would bother with would be Drew Brees, Jimmy Graham, Darren Sproles and Lance Moore. Graham worries me as he has been dropping passes but I still think he will be a top 5 TE by the end of the season.

Besides that....Marques Colston has just been "off" so far this season, may bounce back later on as he has been dealing with an injury. Pierre Thomas is a mediocre flex play at best. Mark Ingram is looking lazy, I am not expecting much from him this season.

I made two trades - I made the first because I felt it was a great deal and I made the second because I felt I needed a better WR and had enough RBs to be able to deal.

Trade 1 (The guy who made this trade won the league last year, but he makes rash moves at times and he was sick and tired of Dez Bryant - he really wanted an upgrade at WR):
I gave:
AJ Green

I dropped:
James Starks
Jermaine Gresham

I got:
Jimmy Graham
Matt Forte
Dez Bryant

Trade 2 (This guy is a bit of a homer and loves the Cowboys so he will over pay to get someone from his team - now I don't think he overpaid - if anything I did - but I haven't started MJD all year and I believe between Richardson/Turner/Forte/Mendenhall/Spiller I will be able to get 2-3 starters every week):
I gave:
Dez Bryant
Maurice Jones Drew

I got:
Julio Jones
Rashard Mendenhall

My final team is now:

QBs
Freeman, Josh TBB QB
Griffin III, Robert WAS QB (R)
Roethlisberger, Ben PIT QB

RBs
Forte, Matt CHI RB (Q)
Greene, Shonn NYJ RB
Mendenhall, Rashard PIT RB (O)
Richardson, Trent CLE RB (R) (P)
Spiller, C.J. BUF RB (D)
Turner, Michael ATL RB

WRs
Johnson, Calvin DET WR (P)
Jones, Julio ATL WR (P)
Bowe, Dwayne KCC WR

TEs
Daniels, Owen HOU TE
Graham, Jimmy NOS TE

PKs
Hanson, Jason DET PK
Henery, Alex PHI PK

DLs
Avril, Cliff DET DE
Watt, J.J. HOU DE

LBs
Bowman, Navorro SFO LB
Lofton, Curtis NOS LB

S/CBs
Berry, Eric KCC S
Byrd, Jairus BUF S (P)

Scoring is very non-standard, but the same general rules apply - touchdowns are great and yardage is OK. MJD was the leading rusher in the league last year, but wasn't top 5 in the RBs because he scored so few TDs. We start 1QB, 1-4 RBs, 2-4 WRs (5 total RBs and WRs), 1TE, 1PK, 1DL, 1LB, 1S/DB.

Thoughts?

I traded for Rob Gronkoski. I sent him Brent Celek and Andre Brown (he's hot right now and I assume will lose some carries when Bradshaw comes back), was this a wise trade? I know it's a little too late to ask now, but interested in feedback anyways.

Well, you traded two waiver wire adds for a 1st/2nd rounder that's underperforming right now but could warm up later in the year. I think you did ok.

I wasn't sold on Gronk at the beginning of the year and avoided him because I didn't think he was worth the asking price. I just didn't see him being able to repeat last years numbers. I didn't think it would be this bad this year. But it's still young and NE is trying to figure out WTF they want to. I'm sure he'll bounce back.

once hernandez comes back from injury, gronk will be brady option again, but don't know how long Aaron Hernandez will be out.

I drafted Gronk in the 2nd round.
