So I have a weird ff week this coming week. My WR has been my weak spot and with Reggie Wayne on a buy this week I have to sit him. Also my number 2 running back Fred Jackson is hurt so I have to play a WR in Flex as well.

Here's my choices:

Kenny Britt Ten
Nate Washington Ten
Dwayne Bowe KC
Doug Baldwin Sea
Randy Moss

This position has been hurting me each week with Britt not producing yet. Honestly I don't have a lot of choices so I'm thining of starting Britt, Washigont and Bowe. I know Britt and Washington together will hurt but I don't know if I have much of a choice.

I think Bowe is a must start from that group, no question. After that it's either Britt or Washington. It depends on whether or not you think Britt's gonna get double coverage by Houston.

I have to start 3 this week. I'm just not sure if I go britt/washington or washington and take a chance on Baldwin (moss is probably useless). But yes Bowe is the starter. he's been in flex for me for awhile now.

I did see that. I still think I may be going with Pierre from NO this week instead. I'll wait and see. At this point though I really need MJD, Eli and Graham to have a good week though.

Sprained AC ligament in his shoulder - general recovery 1 to 2 weeks. He may practice, but considering it's Wednesday and he hasn't yet, I'd consider him doubtful if Freddy is good to go for Sunday. Pretty sure Chan won't risk both of his backs, even for New England.

What this does say is Buffalo's conditioning program FINALLY is not utter trash?

And... well... maybe some luck for Buffalo? I mean come on, it's only been what? A decade or so?

Got an interesting offer in my auction league:
I'd get Andre Brown for Jermichael Finley. I currently have Lynch, Richardson and McFadden in my RB slots with no backups. If I give up Finley i'm only left with Brent Celek as my TE and no backup. On the other hand i'd get Brown as a solid fill-in for bye weeks. I have a feeling he'll start sharing carries with Bradshaw on an even basis.

Thoughts?

He's not a change of pace back for the Giants... so unless Bradshaw gets hurt or simply sucks, there's no reason for anyone to expect an even split on carries at this point.

Andre brown will still have a role, though it really only dilutes the value of both guys.

I'm cursed with an abundance of solid WR2's. We start 2 WRs and 1 Flex. 1 PPR. Any ideas? I'm actually leaning towards Gronk, Smith, and Johnson based on the matchups.

I also have a potential 3rd RB I could use in the flex, but I think Gronk is a perennial start until I see otherwise:

Suggestions? I'm trying to trade away a receiver for a better QB.

Amendola is going against Seattle...considering what they did against GB I would say a big NO.

Marshall is going against Dallas which has been strong against the pass...iffy imo.

I would say Bowe and smith or johnson for your WR and then gronk at flex...

You have a bunch of options at flex though...

Yeah, I'm looking around. Possibly shopping Bowe for Vick.

But honestly, my team is pretty good without any trades. The biggest issue with having positional depth is starting the right players every week. I hate having to choose between playing the matchup vs. starting your consistent scorers, only to end up having your bench outscore your starters.

Oh well.

I'll take the consistent scorers over risk anyday. I don't like to get cute with matcups, been bit too many times and would rather just produce good consistent scores. My whole goal in that kind of decision is "will I get a solid 10+ points form this guy?" If every one of my players is in double digits, I'm generally going to win. Give me the 10 points vs. a risk of getting 5 or 20 from somebody else.

You're right though, it hurts to have somebody on your bench put up 30. That stings. Especially if you lose and that one call would have won the game.

Yeah I kept getting worried someone would outbid me, so kept raising my bid. Ended up getting the Seahawks in league 1 and the Cardinals in league 2 for $10 each.
