Miami: HAD a good run defense.

Against Tennessee: 177 yards
Against Indy: 97 yards (with WHO as their RB?)
Against Jets: 105 yards

And are we talking about the same Jackie Battle who was named the starter back in like week 2 or whatever and got like 2 carries?

Yeah, no.

Agreed. It's funny, all the fantasy analysts focus intensely on how well players have done recently, whether they're improving or getting worse, but they rarely talk about trends in opposing defenses. Outside of really obvious ones like Minnesota or Arizona that pulled a 180 halfway through the season, you don't hear about it much.

I try not to get too cute with matchups, unless it's glaring.

getting cute with matchups is the only reason my team has wins under its belt. i made a bad trade, which hurt, but i've also made a couple good ones, which helped. unfortunately, there are maybe only 3 guys out of 12 who are actually responsive when it comes to trades or even creating starting line-ups in this league. we have teams that have stud players that are on bench and players who have a bye week in the starting line-up. some of these guys in the league are taco'ing it and it's aggravating because i try proposing trades with them and they might as well be dead in a ditch somewhere. one guy just has a slot open... doesn't even have a player starting. worst part about it is that it's a money league... /smh... some people just want to watch the world burn.

Should I just concede defeat this week? (My opponent is on the right)

My god just look at those freaking CHOICE matchups!

Sweet Baby Jesus, your opponents team is bad ass. I'm in a 16 team league, so there's no way in hell any of us can come close to having that many valuable players on one team. It really sucks because it was a 12 team league last year, but some wives of the players wanted to join. But now they don't do shit. (I'm not saying that because they're women, but because they're fucking idiots. We have three kick ass women in our league, my gf being one of them).

It's annoying how, down the stretch, there are always a few teams that just stop even bothering. I mean if you're not going to do trades or try to get the juiciest waiver pickups, at least bench the players on bye, drop injured ones, and pick up fill-ins. At least try, you know?

I'm in a random-ass NFL.com league and there's some dude who drafted all Giants (including fantasy stud Jerrel Jernigan). Too bad I don't get to play him this week (I got him for that game where the Giants killed the Browns and lost badly). And he's not even in last place in the league.

The main AT League feels crazy competitive this year, my division in-particular. I'm in a dogfight for a playoff spot at 6-4.

No kidding! It's a freaking dogfight to make the playoff spots in our league. You are going to need to win 9/13 matchups at this rate to make a playoff and like 10/13 to get a bye. And all of my final matchups are intra divisional against tough teams.

Not sure why I'm asking, since I always do my own thing any way. But who would you start at WR this week?

Eric Decker
Reggie Wayne
Randall Cobb

Pick 2

Right now I'm going with Decker and Wayne

You're right on the money. Wayne and Decker (though watch Decker's injury report for any setbacks). Hopefully he'll be back at 100% and back to scoring TD's. Plus it looks like Jordy Nelson is playing this week.

Yep, it's tight. I like my team, but the match-ups have been very tough and the worst team in my division is 5-5 and of course the next three matches are against the division. Going to be very difficult.

Now I get the eits hate. Are you f-ing kidding me sitting Reggie Wayne?

Absolutely, without a doubt start Wayne, and I'd prob go Decker, but it's a coin flip between him and Cobb (but both pretty good starts).

Need 3 to start:

Marques Colston
Reggie Wayne
Calvin Johnson
Demariyius Thomas

Note: Opponent has Peyton Manning as QB and standard scoring.

Im leaning towards: Johnson, Wayne, and Thomas.

So this trade is going to clear in my league between one guy and his GF:

Guy (1st place team) - Gets: LeSean McCoy
GF - Gets: Marcel Reece, Michael Turner, Michael Crabtree

A couple other teams in the league do not like the trade and want me to vote against it. McCoy should make 1st place guy's team a lot better seeing he has Doug Martin and Matt Forte as his other 2 RB's and McCoy would start in his flex. Crabtree and Reece have been on his bench. Do you guys think this is a fair trade? Vote against it or not?

Arik - it reeks of collusion just based on the situation, but honestly by the numbers, it's a okay/legit trade. Given all three of the other end of the trade are actually borderline starting grade players (depending on the rest of the roster), like I said, by the numbers, I couldn't rightfully vote AGAINST it.

Yep, pretty much this and it could help her out quite a bit depending on the rest of her team. Hard to say. It's not like McCoy has been setting the world on fire this year; very solid and an every week starter, but not amazing like last year.

That's what is keeping me from voting against it myself. His GF is in 6th (Top 4 make the playoffs, she is one game out of 4th) and those other players might actually help her team more than McCoy alone would. The only thing that bothers me is that his team (his starters) get better and his team is better and poses a bigger threat to me winning the league with McCoy (I think). I'm in 3rd, one game back, but have higher overall points than him, soft remaining schedule, and I'm not worried about making the playoffs myself. But like I said, a couple other teams don't like it. We do have a voting system for vetoes (12 team league, 4 teams required to veto) so the other teams could veto without me, some are just lobbying for my vote. Good ol' FFB politics.

Need some help (don't worry KT its not in our league) for a PPR league.

Start Bush tonight (flex) or have the option of playing either Reese (Oak) or LLoyd (NE) on Sunday.
