I like 2 week playoffs where possible.

Have a championship bracket with 4 teams that play weeks 13-14 and then 15-16
And have a consolation bracket that does the same thing

I set them to start week 12, so 12+13 and 13+14 I believe. 12 team league meant that everyone would play each team once, so make things a bit more even. I'm not sure if the shorter season have an effect on the quality of teams that make it(more games is always better, but I think the 2 week playoffs + schedule overrules that)

What the hell? Some people think it should be allowed? Screw that. Commish should adjust the teams, more likely the site will "fix" the bug.

I don't think the site will fix it, and I don't care enough to complain. I did a simple search and found a discussion on their help forums about the same thing from last year.

We're set up for starters to automatically carry over from the previous week. Apparently if you never manually set starters, they will carry over, but never lock, so you can alter even after they play Thursday.

Fortunately the site keeps logs of when starters are set, so it was clear they were changed after the game. I just find it funny that owners are trying to defend it somehow.

I'd probably be more angry than amused if I was going against one of these guys or I wasn't already eliminated from the playoffs.

Sounds like a shitty site. People are already talking about switching away from Yahoo just because they had one server outage (which can happen to anyone). And now there's a site that lets you bench players you started in a Thursday night game? And the same thing happened last year too? Ridiculous.

I like ESPN and CBS more than Yahoo, Yahoo just kind of feels childish but it seems to be the most popular. One thing about ESPN I don't like are their projections, they have been pretty wacky for me all year.

The projections are pretty bad in most of those places from what I've seen. Yahoo's interface is abhorrent, it has brought me very close to quitting leagues because some people refuse to move from it for whatever reason.

I just think only having 11 weeks for the regular season is too early. Me and you both had a legit shot to make it to the playoffs on a normal schedule

The ATOT leagues are way fucked up, thats why I didn't play in them this year

Well I will most def play next year in an ATOT league with a normal schedule. I doubt I will join an auction league though, I did not really like it.

But you can say the same thing no matter how long the season is. A few more games and there are still teams right on the cusp

Quick poll...I am in a work league (which I prolly ain't playing in next year) that has the absolute worst scoring system...

Out of the to 50 highest scoring players in the league 29 are qb's (which is on par with my standard scoring league) but has 14 kickers...3 D's (which is on par) and only 3 rb's...

I brought it up in a discussion and I was the minority where most people favored the scoring system.

Basically it is a TD league with a stupid points scheme for yardage...non-ppr.

So if you don't get a top 5 qb your team suffers greatly. Just curious if people enjoy a league that has a multitude of scoring opportunities (ppr, bonuses, etc.) or very simple scoring?

I was in a qb league last year. Throwing TD was 6. And 10 yards per point. Everything standard.

This year I'm in ppr. I think its a little better. Everyone has a shot. 2nd string rb getting 4 passes for 40 yards and 25 rushing and a score
16.5 points, ur stud rb might get you 20 points rushing 200yards with no catches or td.

Sucks if u got the stud rb. But everyone is fair game. A lot of players are useful.

After Thursday night I'm already down 33 since he had both Turner and Matt Bryant I've been running Martin and Peterson the past few weeks because they're proven, however this week I might need a huge boost and we get .5 PPR.
