Pagan's catch to end the 8th was clutch. The 9th was pretty stressful, especially the 12 or so pitches to Jay Bruce. Wonder if Baker will lose his job...

What made the 9th worse was my boss walked past my desk after Romo had thrown 8 or 9 pitches to Jay Bruce, and he said his wife just texted him that the game was over, Giants had won. So I let out a big sigh of relief, but Gameday didn't show the game as being over. Turns out his wife doesn't know anything about baseball.

Orioles can't score for crap. Yankees tied it up, which means game over eventually.

It seems like the O's hitters are too tight. Swinging way too much, which makes for 1 or 2 pitch easy pop outs or ground outs.

Hopefully Dusty comes back. The Reds losing their best pitcher is the freak shit I've been talking about. You just never know with baseball. The Reds and Nats both had the best pitching staffs in the regular season and both lost their best pitchers.

Werth's walkoff 13 pitch AB was epic. Also unsung in that game were the 8 straight K's by the bullpen (J. Zimmerman 3, Tyler Clippard 3, Drew Storen 2). They were throwing straight fire and put the Cards down like sick dogs in order.

The Nats management may have given up on them (shelving Strasburg) but they are gamers. Anything can happen tomorrow night with Gio on 3 days rest.

Loving the boobirds at Yankee Stadium for kkkkkkROD after he got blown away again. I think NY will win though b/c the O's bullpen will implode in this tie game (Saunders is now out).
