My problem with the decision is that Shanahan not only played him then and against Dallas, but also ran him on designed plays and put his knee at further risk. At a minimum, you keep him in the pocket and tell him to eat the ball. Hell, we saw Shanahan run him out to the side a few plays ago. Seriously, how dumb was that?
In retrospect, he needed another week of rest. I'm hearing conflicting reports of whether the doctor actually clear him or not as well. If the doctor didn't clear him and Shanahan still played him, Goodell should fine them.
Yeah, you put Manning on the Colts and the Colts are probably 13-3 this year even with their shitty pass blocking. Where have I denied that? Their pass blocking is some of the worst I've seen recently.
I think you're over-estimating the Redskins.
Nice post-game shove to the face
this just in, AMDZen has endorsed the skins winning
I don't believe in Atlanta at all, but I will be rooting for them against Seattle.
I think we may see a Seahawks vs. Packers NFC Championship and the Packers will have their shot at revenge.

Well, I was concerned that the Redskins winning the division would keep Shanahan's job safe, but now...with how he has played Bob over the last couple of weeks.
hmmm
I'd shit-can his ass. Then again, I'm probably the last person you want making decisions for a professional fooseball team.
Game over, the better team won.
So if the Seahawks & Packers win next weekend, where is the NFC champ. game held?

would be Epic. Seattle all the way to defeat uni-neck Manning!
Say the same with healthy Griffin?
I wanna hear what Shanahan has to say at the post game interviews.
Yes -- the Seahawks are simply a better team even with a healthy Griffin. The same as the Ravens are better than the Colts and made the big plays today.
I give RGKnee a lot of credit for going out there in the second half on one leg.
That said, as many people posted in the thread on RG3 he has proven nothing as a pocket passer. There is a reason the NFL doesn't have qb's who are really second running backs. And after having a concussion and a knee injury in his first season, it should be apparent that RG3 can't continue to play running back as well as qb. Without the 7-8 seconds he gives his receivers to get wide open RG3 hasn't shown he can consistently pass the ball.
