The running QB has been tried many times.
They tried and failed?
No. They tried and they died. This is nothing new.
He'll be OK -- maybe not next year, but the year after.
NOW do you guys get what I was saying?
He rushed far too many times and it was going to catch up with him. He had a concussion early and the last quarter of the season dealt with knee injuries. These kinds of injuries are what happen to a running QB.
none of these injuries happened on designed run plays. they were passing plays where nothing was there and he tried to make a play. sorry if i don't think it is bad to try and make a play. but he's learning that he can't do it always and needs to go down sometimes. the 2nd half of the season his runs were totally different than the first half, much smarter with when he got out and went down.
hell the first time he tweaked his knee in the seattle game was when he passed it and planted it oddly. and then his final injury had nothing to do with him running.
its just stupid how you are out to try and prove something higher than what facts state. he ran more than any other qb this year, everyone knows this and there is nothing to argue against that.
the fact that he runs and can make plays with his legs has no bearing on his passing ability. but his jacked up knee definitely had an effect on it. ever since he came back from that injury his passing has been off way more than normal. so hopefully they don't rush him back at all and let him full recover 110% with this injury.
He didn't slide. That's the problem
In all fairness, I think ICF has generally liked RG3 and given him props when and where deserved--his criticisms have been that he runs like an idiot for the NFL and the shame of it all is that if he refuses to adjust his career will be very short. (AMDZen is the guy that simply hates RG3 for no explicable reason--to which he has freely admitted).
The part I'll never understand is that with Cousins you still have a shot at winning this game, after the 1st Qtr you could see RG3 was struggling with his accuracy and needed for his own sake (and the team's chance that game) to come out. I hope he makes a full recovery and I hope his coach grows a brain and a pair so as to not risk losing him again..
yeah, i just seen that too. time to call adrian peterson and work out with himMSNBC is reporting that he has complete tears to both his ACL and LCL and is undergoing reconstructive surgery starting at 7 AM today. They estimate a recovery of 6 to 8 months.

and how did they waste that pick? made playoofs this year and will make them next year too. he will be fine and ready for opening day this yearAnd the Deadskins wasted another draft pick. Nothing new from Danny Boy, it's his M-0. Next move? Offer money to get Favre back out of retirement, or hire another washed up veteran for a long term contract.

He does seem to not be willing to adjust, judging by his play against Seattle.
As a Seahawks fan I've been watching Wilson all year. He is not a running quarterback, he is a quarterback who can run. He is extremely conservative and rarely takes hits outside the pocket (the Washington game he seemed much more aggressive, playoff football I guess).
funny shirt for you skins fans out there http://www.ebay.com/itm/Washington-...852&pid=100015&prg=1006&rk=2&sd=160926588841&
I went to most of the Badger games last year so I got to see Wilson play a bit. He's not running as much in the NFL as he did here at Wisco. Wilson is also built like a tank; he and RG3 weigh about the same, but Wilson is at least 3", possibly 4" shorter.
now that i know you are a ravens fan, all your redskins hate makes 100% sense. typical ravens fan.

I've watched the last 2 or 3 Redskins game and I have not seen any evidence that their offensive line is atrocious. The last ranking I saw had them #12 overall IIRC.
Want to see a bad line? Watch a replay of the Colts against the Ravens.
