Manning says he will wear gloves for the first time ever.
Welcome to real football, pal.
Game over, Broncos lose now.

Like making things up?
Manning has been using a glove on his throwing hand for weeks.

I heard last night on the radio that he's been wearing them for the last couple games. Said it was related to his surgery?
No no no. Nothing to do with the surgery, just the weather.
"I certainly don't think I would have had to wear the glove had I not been injured last (season)," Manning said. "It's part of my injury, some things that I've had to adjust."
It's his injury and weak grip.

The Glove is not only about what it does for Manning's grip, but what the weather does to the ball.
They go hand in hand.
The colder the weather, the harder and slicker the football. Meanwhile, the most lasting residual effect from Manning's neck surgeries has been the nerve regeneration in the grip of his right throwing hand.
I can promise you your football knowledge is infinitely inferior to mine
I'm going to root for the Ravens, just because.
Mannings record in the post season makes it hard to pick the Broncos to go to the Super Bowl. Manning has been in the playoffs more than almost any other qb. Yet he managed to get to the big game only twice. Compare that to Bradys 5 times.
While Manning doesn't choke in the playoffs he always seems to have that one game that he's off and his team loses.
Plus he's probably got to get past Brady, who is the most clutch post season player ever. Brady has made the Super Bowl like 5 out of 10 times he's made the playoffs. And that's in the same conference as Manning is in. That's a record that may never be broken.
I can certainly understand that point, and that POV. Its not wrong. However, this Bronco team is far superior to any team Manning drug to the Super Bowl or into the playoffs in Indianapolis. They just are. Namely on the Defensive side of the ball. Brady was always surrounded by infinitely more talent, IMO.

Don't get me wrong, the Pats worry me. They do. IF they beat us next week it isn't going to be all that surprising. However, at least we get to play them here at home in Denver, a Mile High, where Brady has a terrible record. So that gives us more of a shot then some might think.
They beat Brady the last time we saw him in the playoffs here in Denver, they can certainly do it again. Besides, there is always next year which will see the Broncos in the same position, undoubtedly, as they find themselves this year.
But to be concerned about the Ravens? Sorry, but I'm as confident as one can be in such an important game as a fan.
That playoff bye week can do horrible things to a team steamrolling.
