We probably need an offseason thread already (if there is one.. oops) but this is awesome:
I got the Ravens 28-24
BTW, Pete Carroll is giving away a pair of tickets and airfare to the SEA-ATL game onTwitter.
Of course you do, you are a Patriots fan. Isn't Manning 9-0 against the Ravens in his last nine games?
Weren't the Broncos up 31-3 before they slowed down on the Ravens once this year?
@Eric_Branch
Donte Whitner said Justin Smith has been moving 355-pound Leonard Davis in practice: “I think he’ll be 95 % … Leonard Davis is a large guy.”
I just don't think Eli's lesser brother can get to 10 in a row.
Tebow deserves a shot somewhere. He has earned at least one more try and f it fails he is done as a QB. He could play right now as a TE, FB and possibly as a RB but he may have an ego about the QB thing.
Pretty funny, considering if Brady wins one more playoff game, that would set the NFL records for MOST post-seasons wins for any quarterback in history. Right now he's tied with Montana.Brady has a rather diluted playoff record. Ever since their last win, Brady has been pretty shitty. Probably a factor of how many games they have actually played, his playoff record is pretty much lousy compared to his overall career. Shockingly lousy, even.
Eli Manning is far, far more clutch than Brady in the postseason. He's also one of the most mediocre QBs in history, through the regular season, unlike Brady.
Go figure.
Peyton Manning excelled at home this season, posting a league-best +19 TD-Int differential. Joe Flacco, meanwhile, struggled on the road in 2012, completing just 29.6% of his passes of at least 15 air yards on the road, the fourth-lowest percentage in the league.
Flacco had a 38.6 success rate on the road in the regular season, worse than Mark Sanchez (39.1), Nick Foles (40.0) and Matt Cassel (42.8)
Ignore the typical Pats fan gloating. What's funny is that since Adam Vinatieri left and their defense collapsed, the Pats haven't won anything meaningful. Pats fans love to ignore the role the Patriots defense and Adam Vinatieri played in their success. When the Pats win, it is all Brady; when the Pats lose, it is always someone other than Brady.
the ravens are not gonna win this one.
I'm pulling for 'em, if the won they would advance to NE (if NE beats the Texans). Flacco had some nice hookups in vs colts but you've got to believe Denver's D is gonna make that a much tougher task at mile high..
yeah, there's almost no way it's gonna happen. denver defense is killer and so is their offense. ravens defense is garbage. the only reason they won last week was because they were playing the colts, who had, pretty much, the easiest schedule in the league next to the falcons.

both eli manning and joe flacco are mediocore qbs who get lucky/bailed out by their receivers making some spectacular catches.

Ravens D is garbage? They didn't allow a TD against the Colts, who were 10th in the NFL in offense. Stop making yourself look dumb.
