1) When asked if he was relieved, Schaub hesitated before saying that it was excitement instead.

2) Foster saying, right in front of the QB, that they did what they needed to by not throwing it so much.

I have mixed feelings about ponders being out, now that they have to deal with the double run threat but the passing game will change. Webb may or may not be the passer I remember but he hasnt had the best track record in the past.

If this were mid-season, I'd be elated as a Vikes fan that Webb is taking over. Ponder hasn't shown that he's anything special, and Joe Webb probably has more upside. Also, I didn't see how the Vikings had much of a chance (even despite last week) with ponder, even if healthy. So why not go the high variance route?

A few bad games from Ponders trying the high risk shots seem to have diminished him credibility. If he plays safe and only doesnt do the stupid stuff he is good. Remember the first few games he had the highest passer rating until those interception heavy games.

I think at this point peterson is so warmed up, I wouldnt be surprised if no defense could truly stop him now.

Question about end of HOU - CIN game.

With 2:20 or so left, HOU gets a first down, CIN with no timeouts, and HOU can let the clock run down to the 2 minute warning then take a knee 3 times and win the game. But CIN gets a personal foul during the play, which results in a 15 yard penalty AND the clock stops. Now CIN actually has a chance to win the game as they now have a chance to get the ball back, meaning they are rewarded for a personal foul.

Would any coach in this situation NOT tell their players "if we don't stop the first down here, get a personal foul"?

Am I missing something obvious?
