Ok, last time I day trade. Almost shit myself over the last 10 minutes to make $50 (-$20 commission).

I agree, missed the rally and sitting on 80% cash.

That's where I am conflicted too. On one hand it's been rallying too long, on the other hand, there is still a lot of cash on side lines to rally even more.
I still like valuations now, but I hate to buy after such a long rally without a pullback.

Amazon is tempting. If drops to $180, I definitely buy, not sure right now.

NVDA got raped after hours thanks to earnings. Time to accumulate more while people are freaking out, I suppose.

Looks like a bunch of us are sitting on 75+% cash right now. Reports are saying hedge funds/whatever funds are doing same...

Maybe we're all onto something?

Lulza on ZNGA today. It went up to "only" down 11%, and ended down over 17%.

The traders hall of fame consists of an empty room (not the case with investors)

Put 20 traders in a room with a broker and you'll end with 20 broke people and one very rich person.

95% of retail daytraders lose money. You can go and look at the Tuco Trading LLC numbers if you wish.

Ha...because the "broker" is one who makes the 20 broke

Yeah, I'm not a fan of trading. I firmly believe in NVDA and am looking to hold fairly long term, so this to me represents a "panic discount". I've been chased out of other companies I've believed in thanks to freaking out post earnings with devastatingly low after hours quotes, but my discipline is improving.

Hmm...really, really anxious to see what NVDA does tomorrow...*gulp*. I can handle the 6% whack after hours today, but it's mostly because I'm thinking it's an overreaction. But I could be dead wrong and we could see it fall right through to $14. In which case...I've got a loooong wait.

Like they say Bird in hand worth two in the bush.

I picked up $75K on Apple this year, holy shit...

I hope it gets some movement up and down again, I love timing Apple stock, if you screw up and buy it too high, just wait a few weeks and you're golden

The iPad3, and the iPhone 5 will be massive pops this year, earnings next quarter will be less than the last spectacular quarter I suspect.

Gurufocus.com spoke with Prem Watsa about RIMM recently...

Watsa still sees plenty of value in the company. Fairfax told GuruFocus he liked that it is “trading at less than book, [has] 75 million subscribers and growing, $700 million free cash flow in last reported three months, $1.5 billion in cash, No. 1 smartphone in many large growing markets, genius founders invested in company and buying more stock, and a seasoned operator in [newly appointed CEO Thorsten] Heins.”

Prem also increased his stake by 1,000,000 shares in the recent quarter. Going from 11,798,000 to 12,798,000 shares.

With an improving economy, my fear is that we will not see a correction. I can see the Dow at 14K at some point in the next two years. So, I have a fear that sub-12K might never happen again or not for a while.

NVDA back in the $16's. Wow. Also, excited that I'm finally in AMZN. I'd been waiting for a chance to get in on them for a while. High P/E scares me a tad, but I think it's justified.
