I cancelled and redid the limit order and got in at 39.79.

what I'm worried about is that my old order was a higher limit, but is only "Pending Cancel" I hope I don't get screwed. In any case time to wait and watch.

Well I just put in a cancel request - if it goes through and market dips under $40, I'll just go in with a market order and be done with it. If not, screw FB and my kids' college futures!

Just got off the phone with Scottrade he could not say if my order will be filled or not. The order may have been filled already or not. The whole system is having problems with confirmation updates.

Tons of trades for small lots just came across the tape away from the market. My guess is the missing limit orders just got reported.

Really regretting not getting into the 2x leveraged HVU.TO (Leveraged against the VXX).

Would have doubled my money in the last 5 days. It's scary as fuck to get into though. If the market rebounds, even temporarily, I have a limit order set for 3.50.

For stability JNJ should fill your need. I picked up some last August @ 63.15 has not changed much. The steady dividend is what I wanted. They have a good dividend history.

Right on. Dividends are pretty awesome. So I'm basically 1/3 AEP, 1/3 JNJ, 1/3 (NVDA + OCZ).

I thought it'd at least level out today with the FB hype... It WAS pretty level, even up, then just died around 3pm. Grrr...
