You want to know the criteria for being a great referee? No one should know your name.
Ed Hochuli takes offense to that.

Why the fuck is Joey Crawford still in this league? Memphis deserved that win but ole' Joey totally iced Durant on that last free throw attempt! That man's ego has no limit.
Is it just me or is the playoffs actually interesting this year?
I'm not even talking about my Trailblazers, but the matchups as a whole. Upsets are looming! The #1 seeds probably will be ousted in the first rounds with how their playing. Memphis is up 3-2 on OKC which is INSANE, and Toronto is mucking it up against Brooklyn.
Sources: Mike D'Antoni steps down
Mike D'Antoni has resigned as coach of the Los Angeles Lakers, according to sources.
During conversations with the Lakers over the past two weeks, D'Antoni had asked them to pick up the team option on the fourth year of his contract, sources with knowledge of the situation told ESPN.com.
D'Antoni had one year remaining on his deal at $4 million. The Lakers held a $4 million team option on him for 2015-16.
Los Angeles went 27-55 this season, its first full campaign under D'Antoni. The Lakers posted the second-worst winning percentage (.329) in team history, the worst 82-game record in team history and their lowest win total since the franchise relocated from Minnesota.
D'Antoni, 62, has posted a 67-87 record since being hired by the Lakers early in the 2012-13 season to replace Mike Brown.
Oh look who finally decided to show up tonight, after disappearing for week and a half, today the Spurs decided to come back to the game...
Poor NoWinsKi, felt bad for him today..

What do the Lakers have to do with a playoffs thread? This is bad for Lakers fans though, they won't have MDA to kick around next year when they crack 30 wins.
not a meaningful comparison, it's much easier for a big to get a double double than for a guard to get it with points & assists. Are we talking about Air Canada? Because he is the only person on the Mavs not currently dead to me.
These playoffs have been pretty good so far though.
Also, I think Duncan is going to pass up Magic in playoff double doubles, especially if the Spurs win this series.

you don't get it, those are ALL elite point guards and cracking 10 assists per game is always impressive. CP3 led the league with 10.7 APG this season, about TWO more than the next guy. Rebound leaders have grabbed over 15 RPG before, and will again. (And much higher back in Wilt's heyday.)Jason Kidd. John Stockton. Magic Johnson. Chris Paul.
PGs can do more than get assists, they can rebound as well.

Tim Duncan could roll over in his sleep and grab 10 boards. Not saying his double-doubles aren't impressive because they are. But a guy like DeAndre Jordan (even before his breakout season) could easily be a consistent 10 & 10 guy by applying effort.
A few elite guards like Kidd and Magic were great rebounders as well but not frequently to the tune of 10 per game. Magic really is the exception to a lot of rules, being a 6-foot-9 point guard with amazing knowledge and instincts.
I thought Tiago looked great last night and has been good throughout the series. I didn't really watch the Spurs much in last year's playoffs until the finals but I remember feeling unimpressed by his contributions vs the Heat. Definitely looks like he's playing more confidently and with more awareness.
It kind of sucks that DAL and SA got matched up first round, would have been more fun to see them both go up against some other teams and match up later.
Last night's DAL/SAS game was so frustrating to watch as a mavs fan. I can't tell if Dirk is just whining about no calls or if he really isn't getting any calls.
Also, I couldn't believe how many times Mavs were defenseless against SAS P'nRs. Not only that, Mav's defense was so clueless at times that there were instances of Duncan just cherry picking and no one knew what was going on. Sigh.
Every time the Mavs made a push, they let Spurs come right back. I don't have much hope anymore for them to beat the Spurs. Spurs are starting to look like a championship team now. Great chemistry and ball movement.

And lol @ magic going full retard after lakers buy out dantoni.
Mavs went ito suckage mode last night.
