The possibility of Lebron leaving the Heat and Wade's decaying corpse is actually a real thing now.
If the Spurs drop the heat (probably so), that makes two Texas teams to KO the Lebron heat recently with just plain tough as balls play harder style.
It's almost like the heat don't even feel like working for it. Oh and the heat coach is the worst coach in NBA history to get a championship. Horrible lack of leadership with all that talent. Phil Jackson or Pat Riley he certainly is not.
They better keep playing this one. I know it's a big lead but it's evaporating pretty quickly.
I doubt the Pacers will win it at this point, but I'm hoping the Heat is brutally victimized by the West champs as a consolation prize.
This series is far from over and Miami could still come back and win it, but the silence from Heat "fans" is certainly deafening. So far, I think my dream from my earlier post is coming true:
This series was a couple free throws away from being over. 4-0. Sweep.
San Antonio is hungry and wants this thing over. They will come out on their home court Sunday and seal it. Miami was humiliated two games in a row on their home turf. They're done.
San Antonio was the better team last year and should have won it. I think they know it too and are coming out hungry and pissed.
I won't go as far as saying it is over, but I think the Fat Lady is warming up. I'd love to see another 20 point win by the Spurs on Sunday just to add to Miami's humiliation.
Good for the Spurs, but it's not amazing if/when they win it all. They have a great front office, a great coach, and a really good collection of players throughout the roster.
Honestly all I care about now is the off season, it's going to be very interesting to see what happens.
The Pacers are fucked, tbh. Not sure there's any real room for growth.

Good breakdown from Zach Lowe.. Spurs pick and roll is merly a trap that sucks in the defense and force them to play catch up to the ball that just whips around to the weak side/open guy who then gets a wide open look or drives into the lane to repeat the cycle all over again..
Might explain why Miami looks gassed out there.. they have to chase the ball for 20 secs a possession on defense with already a weak bench..
Diaw is the MVP of the series..the way he spreads out the defense and can play as another passer/playmaker has been killer for Miami
I did see Miami is trying to figure out how to sign Carmelo Anthony to their current roster, so I think those predicting their imminent demise may be putting the cart in front of the horse.
