If labeling a guy is a douche because he intentionally and consistently raises his elbow to meet players heads is a trait unique to Wings fans, then I am more proud to call myself a Wings fan than I thought I was.

Meh, that was not even a half-hearted attempt at stopping him. He couldn't stick it out because it would be an obvious attempt to trip/injure and he mentally stopped himself. MacKinnon fell because he was mid-stride crossing over. Not because it was a typical knee-on-knee hit attempt to injure. 2 mins for interference.

When he left the Wings I thought he had become a much better 2 way player and he always had an accurate shot. Now, I realized he's got a lot more miles on him now, but I think a lot of people are basing their opinions of him by looking at his play when he was hurting or rusty after coming back from an injury.
