Apparently the window in which to fit that throw into was too small for you to find.

I was too focused on the celebratory move at the end.

clearly I have not been watching football much for the past few seasons.

I'll answer it this way...

I am not sure what you're trying to demonstrate? That a gimpy Rodgers wasn't pressured and could make throws? That Dallas D was overachieving the entire season, but still was only middle of the pack at best? Also, Dallas blitzed a total of twice in the second half, despite it working well in the first.

Green Bay played a great game, but Rodgers was mediocre. Had he been perfectly healthy, this wouldn't have been nearly as close, unless the Cowboys stepped up on offense.

Certainly not, especially if we can pick them. A playoff Manning the lesser, for instance, is near unbeatable (ask Tom). Superbowl run Flacco? I'd take them over a gimpy Rodgers. I'd even take a healthy Romo over a gimpy Rodgers against a team like Seattle.

I certainly wouldn't take anyone over a healthy Rodgers though.
SP33Demon wasn't talking about once every 3-4 years miracle tourney runs, but a game next week. While it's debatable that nobody except Wilson trumps gimpy A-Rod, I certainly wouldn't put either Eli or Flacco onto the short list of guys I'd roll with.

As Bill Simmons alluded to, Flacco might've had a strong case if he had continued his playoff dominance with an upset win on Saturday.

But I personally agree I do not like Green Bay's chances on Sunday. It would've been tough enough with a healthy Rodgers, the Packers just aren't a very good road team.

Rodgers was mediocre? The general consensus (no matter how you evaluate the Cowboys defense) is he put on an MVP-caliber performance even after a slow start.

Maybe you don't remember the game, but he was pressured. That specific play he was forced to scramble and made that throw on the run between two defenders.

If you don't want to acknowledge that even happened then there is just no talking to you!

Is it me or does Green Bay appear to have the best offensive line in football? Rodgers was moving around like a 80 yr old grandma out there and Dallas got nothing even approaching light pressure on him in the 2nd half.

I think Seattle will bring blitzes. The Dallas game more or less proves that a less aggressive defensive scheme will not be effective on a crippled Rodgers.

Perhaps, I think I'd give them an edge vs. Dallas o-line, but you have to temper what you saw in that game. Dallas d-line is mediocre at best.

that gif still doesn't show his evasion/scrambling for yards/extending plays ability, which is the real concern.

He was throwing fine, and even on the run at times, but instead of grabbing the 10 or so yards for a first on an open field in front of him, he was looking for open receivers yesterday. --there was one specific play like this, think it was in the 2nd half.

What is best in life?

Crush the Cowboys. See them driven before you. Hear the lamentations of their women.

Rodger complete two passes outside the pocket yesterday. Both happened to be TDs, but I don't expect much less from him. He opted out of quite a few opportunities to step up and run and instead tried to find receivers finally getting open. This wasn't terrible, as the Dallas D simply wasn't getting pressure fast enough and the DBs couldn't cover long enough. Seattle doesn't have that problem, which is why I'd recommend a few other QBs over gimpy Rodgers.

Nobody is saying Rodgers didn't have a great game (well, mediocre by his standards, honestly), but that wasn't against a defense anywhere near the caliber he is going to face Sunday. And, a lot of his yardage wasn't due to him making perfect throws. Adams, for instance, had big gains after the catch. Nearly 1/4th of his yards were because of an idiot strip attempt gone wrong by Moore.

Curt Schilling's food coloring in the sock comes to mind with all the limping during the GB/Dal game.

It was breaking news that Manning had a torn muscle in his leg. Green Bay media's has to milk the story with his Rodger's calf if he feels a cramp coming on.

That's apparently his personality though, he has a big ego, but at the same time he is very sensitive about his image (see - 60 minutes article with GB players saying they have to babysit his fragile ego, charity winner getting blown off by Rodgers when he said he thought he would be taller in person).

Imagine the leaked Rex Ryan foot fetish stuff with someone as fragile as Rodgers, it would ruin his career. Rex just laughs it off and moves on.

Great player, one of the best in a quarterback era, which says a lot, he's just a bitch which makes him hard to root for.

Why was Manning's torn muscle such huge news after the game? They said it in the pre-game yesterday he had a strain. Strain = tear.

Don't give them that much credit.

#26 in yards allowed, #29 in completion % allowed, 5 way tie @ #6 for TDs allowed, 4 way tie at #7 for ints, #28 in sacks, 3 way tie at #17 for force fumbles. The entire Dallas defense is just horrible - they started the season well, but all the injuries and lack of depth really hurt - bad. The lack of stops really hurt them yesterday.

If it is Manning's last season (this year or next), will be interesting to see what draft moves they make.

Fern

It would be huge if they get a QB to train under Manning, if he does it another year vs waiting until next year and hoping for the best.

I could easily see Manning grabbing an OC job right after retirement, if he wants to continue avoiding his family, that is.

I think next season will be Peyton's last although it almost looks like they are burning the house down to rebuild next year. I'm sure they'll try to draft a QB this year but with their draft position I wonder who they'll get.

Winston might fall that low. >_> Don't think there are any crab legs to steal in Denver, so he should be okay.
