Heh. Like I said, Cruz has the most potential to put a 100+ yards and a TD or two.

Jennings is going to be a consistent 5-7 points a week with a spike for a TD every 5 weeks or so.

I'm not sold on Kaeperdink and that SFO offense right now. So who knows what happens to Crabtree this week.

I think it comes down to how your matchup looks vs your opponent. If you think it's going to be close, I'd probably go safe with Crabtree. And hope for something in the 7-12 point range.

If you *need* to go big and hope for a points explosion then Cruz and hope he rips off a couple 60+ yard TD slashes.
Good logic. Its too hard to determine what I need. I got 122 points last week and the guy I'm playing this week has 120.

He has lacy,Stacy and Reggie bush. Julius thomas and Hilton. Everyone else is equal or lesser then Greg Jennings.

I have my listed wr (maclin, cooks, andre and forte, and peirre and lastly Rudolph .

As long as Thomas doesn't get 3td, I should be good.

I'm in full panic mode, LOL...dropped the future play Tre Mason for Isaiah Crowell who hopefully will get a decent share of the touches with Tate out for a few weeks.

Here's my team. Not too shabby I think for the #9 pick in a 12 man league.

QB1 Romo
WR1 Brandon Marshall
WR2 Victor Cruz (probably playing Wallace instead this week)
Flex Cordarrelle Patterson
RB1 Matt Forte
RB2 Le'Veon Bell
TE Vernon Davis
K Blair Walsh

Bench:
C. Palmer
Zach Ertz
Mike Wallace
Anquan Boldin
Stevan Ridley
Markus Wheaton (Pitt)

Def. Chicago

I'm trying to trade Cruz+Romo for a better QB and pick up another RB on the wire while they both have some value.

Thoughts? Sit on them to see if they improve?

Did you get Forte at 9, then Marshall then 4 picks later? No picked Bell until it got back to you in the 3rd (18 picks later?)

Flex spot: P. Garcon vs. Jax or R. Wayne vs. Phi?

Another league flex spot: CJ Spiller vs. Mia or K. Moreno vs. Buf?

TE Spot: Vernon Davis vs. Chi or Zach Ertz vs. Ind?

I have a hunch both are going to have good games.

Wait until Cruz or Romo actually does something so you can sell high on them. Right now you're going to get very low value.

Couple of who should I start questions. This is a standard league, my current lineup

QB: Tony Romo
WR: Dez Bryant, Michael Floyd
RB: Jamaal Charles, Montee Ball
Flex: Roddy White
TE: Zach Ertz
Bench: Ryan Matthews, Eric Decker, Fred Jackson, Kelvin Benjamin, Golden Tate, Jake Locker

1. Should I start Jake Locker over Tony Romo?
2. Should I start any other WR/RB on my bench over Roddy White? I am awfully tempted to stick Kelvin Benjamin in there.

I like Forsett better. Stillers just got scorched by Cleveland on the ground.

Feeling the same way. Lacey got rocked by the Hawks last week. He was the only weak link on my my team in that league for me last week(still won by 40+ pts. so it didn't matter much). The Legion is too scary.

Yes, you start Locker against the Dallas D over Romo, though Romo does typically bounce back well, I'm concerned about his health. Only person I'd consider over White would be Benjamin, but Roddy would still put up good points.

One team I'm looking at streaming for Defense/DST is Miami. They were already a top 5 pass rushing team last year according to PFF in 2013 with Wake, Odrick and Starks all posting +11.8 or higher and Wheeler and Solai slightly above average. Their main weakness was against the run, but now the worst against the run is gone - ELLERBE - who they HAD to play because of his large contract.

Enter Game 1 last week. Losing Misi to a high ankle sprain hurts against the run (one of their best), but he'll be back in 2-4 weeks. However, DAT PASS RUSH. Newly acquired big money man Earl Mitchell posted a +3.1 last week to go along with Wake's devastating NFL Week 1 best of +7.8 (he oblitered one of the best RT's in the league in Vollmer) and Odrick (+2.9) and Starks (+0.9) continued from last year opportunities playing off the WAKE. This front four is going to manhandle people, even when they're only rushing 4 just as you saw vs the Pats last week. With Cortland Finnegan and Grimes holding down the corners and surprising LB play last week, I would take this defense very very seriously. I'm going to go out on a limb and say their pass rush will be the best in the league (barring injury) and knock Seattle off their top slot of #1 pass rush. Don't sleep on them early, if you want high upside in strip sack potential then take a chance with Miami.

Another sleeper pick, although more hyped than the 'Fins, is Tampa. They snagged big boy pass rusher Micheal Johnson from Cincy in the offseason to pair with the devastator known as Gerald McCoy. Paired with a do-it-all, superstar LB in Lavonte David and a lockdown corner in Verner, this defense has a lot of potential. This week they are in the lowest OVER/UNDER game of the week, so if your league rewards low scoring like mine does, then Tampa is a solid bet. I am using them in my one league where I have explosive playmakers and I'm not looking for as much upside from a defense (like Miami's) but more consistency. Granted, they did get off to a slow start (Finished 7th in Run Stop but crappy in bottom 5 in pass coverage), but let's see how they do this week, Micheal Johnson had a crappy game vs Carolina and will need to step it up.

I'm dealing with the same question regarding Roddy, who is now questionable due to his knee. Ugh. Cincy has a decent secondary but their pass rush should improve this week against the porous OLine of ATL. Matty Ice could have a muddied pocket which means points won't be as plentiful as last week. With Cincy's secondary already solid, I don't like this matchup especially since ATL is the underdog.

Looking at alternative options, Decker@Green Bay, I think the Jets ground attack will be successful against GB Run D (2nd worst NFL defense last week vs Seattle). This should open opportunities for Decker if they want to pass, but likely won't have to much and Geno also likes to run. So this is a boom or bust matchup. If PPR, Decker is still a decent option as he's the #1 option. Also consider that if Green Bay gets ahead, Decker will get even more passes. Green Bay is an 8 point favorite right now.

Benjamin is going to get a lot of looks for the simple fact that the Lions Run Stop is beastly (#2 overall last week against NYG). If the Lions win the trenches (and I think they will), then Carolina is going to be airing it out to Benjamin and co. While this makes them one dimensional, it means more aerial opportunities for Benjamin. The spread is Carolina by 3 so it may be a close one.

All in all, monitor the situation with Roddy's knee. If beat writers are saying he's ok, then he's still the best of the 3. Decker and Benjamin are decent options as well, I am liking Decker over Benjamin simply because of the point spread and what that will dictate if true.

Regarding Romo/Locker, that's a tough one. Dallas is a 3pt underdog, but obviously they have more offensive weapons. TEN's defense is stout and posted the 2nd best pass rush grade of Week 1; if they get a couple of big stops and get behind then Romo will be airing it out. Even with a solid secondary, Romo has the talent to beat them (even if McCourty locks down his receiver like Dez). I would give Romo one more shot this week, but don't be surprised if TEN's defense wins the game for them - Derrick Morgan (LOLB) and whoever is at RE (Casey and Klug) put up a monster game 1 against the Chiefs and stuffed Jamal Charles. They are no joke. I still like Romo but not by much since Locker is dealing with a very shitty Dallas D.

I think Cruz will be a total bust this season.

I find it mind boggling how the Giants are handling Victor Cruz. Granted I don't follow the Giants in depth but I was all in on Cruz last season and was amazed by how little they used him after a strong start and continued throwing to the merry band of other guys. I can't not throw some blame at Cruz though, he did have some bad TD drops but he is far and away the best WR on the team.

It doesn't matter if they are or aren't throwing to him, because he has to deal with Eli Island.

...this is kinda like Revis/Sherman Island. Only, balls don't go there to die; they simply never can leave Eli Island.

What do you guys think? I can pick up Justin Forsett for tonight. Worth picking him for this week (or later)? If yes then what WR should I drop?

QB: Aaron Rodgers
RB: Marshawn Lynch, Zac Stacy
, Lamar Miller, Ahmad Bradshaw, DeAngelo Williams, Devonta Freeman,
WR: Roddy White, Percy Harvin, Torrey Smith, Jordan Matthews, Andrew Hawkins, Allen Hurns
TE: Jason Witten, Ladarius Green
K: Nick Folk
D/ST: Carolina

Bold are the ones I am starting.

Yea... This lineup almost never happens in a 12 man. Great team overall.

My 4th pick in a 12 man went, forte, Ellington and Cruz. Cobb, brown and nelson went right before me and I panicked because I wanted a wr.
