Does that include bye weeks? Does he come back for the Tampa Bay or the Cincy game?

Yeah I drafted him but there are a lot of mouths to feed in a rushing offense. He's supposed to be playing the Andre Johnson role in Kubiak's Offense but it's looking like S.Smith has taken on that role so far and Torrey = Deandre Hopkins. lol. That will change later but also keep in mind that Flacco doesn't care who you are, he will just look for the open man. And it's entirely possible that Torrey isn't doing enough to get open. I'm not bailing on him since Flacco proclaimed that Torrey would get "100 catches" but that prophecy has seemed hollow so far with Torrey sporting a -1.7 grade through 2 games, a 44.4% catch rate of passes thrown to him, and 1 Drop. The good news is that Baltimore's OLine is not in the red this year which means there is some extra time in the pocket for Flacco to find Torrey.

Part of me wants to hold out, but I had him his "break out" year, and even then it was a bit underwhelming.

Torrey Smith is a streaker/downfield guy and nothing more. He's not a jump ball guy like Andre or a possession receiver like Boldin or Crabtree. That's why he's a boom/bust kind of player.

I went to waivers to pick up a TE for the weekend due to J Cameron's uncertain status.

I opted for Heath Miller; Owen Daniels, that loser, remains a FA.

Gonna drop Blount and pick up Bradshaw, what are the odds that Trent Richardson is kept on the bench after this weekend? Indy gave up a crapload to get him, but after last season and week 1 so far, I can't see them sticking by him when they need to win games. Bradshaw would be a backup anyways as I have Lynch, Joique Bell, and Mark Ingram as my main backs.

TRich wasn't that bad in Week 1, actually - Colts were just down most of the game.

6/20 rushing and 51 total yards from scrimmage isn't that good either.

Yep, and Bradshaw clearly ran better on his carries. Indy would be stupid, I think, to start Richardson over him.

I was "lucky" to grab Richardson very late in the draft...around rd 20 I think, as a spot Flex/bench warmer. Or it is a curse. He's probably just flat out useless, but he's one of those players that can't help but think he will turn it on at some point, despite all contrary evidence.

I've got McCoy, Richardson, and Pierce at that position (Pierce looked pretty good last night, but so did Forsett. regardless, I had him on the bench ). And I have enough WO to fill up my starting and Flex spots, so I'm in no need of these guys at the moment.

Damn.. Forsett was soo close to a TD. Oh well, at least he got me bonus points for the 40+ yard run. So, he at least exceeded his projections in my league. I can't help, but feel like he could've busted off a few similar runs if they had given him more touches.

6/20 against a good defense at home? Bradshaw will never be a feature back - Indy made that regret last year (and arguably lead to the TRich pickup). Again, the Colts were down early, so they really couldn't run.

That's a good move. TRich had the lowest breakaway % statistic of all running backs last year. He can make people miss at the LOS, but if he doesn't get a wide open hole he doesn't go far. His acceleration is simply not good enough. Considering that the Colts OLine could be worse than last year, Bradshaw is much better bet than TRich at this point because he has better upfield acceleration and vision and is more aggressive in my opinion.

TRich was on my Do Not Draft list this year.

Yeah, he's only 6-0 but has a 41 inch vertical so he can go up and get it on a bomb but not necessarily a jump ball. I just think he's been subpar with his route running and/or defenses are scheming to shut him down and making Flacco beat them with short stuff to the TEs or Smith Sr. Which Flacco clearly didn't mind taking full advantage of last night in the whipping they administered on the Stillers.

I don't think defenses respect the run the least bit for Baltimore. Flacco isn't a mad scrambler out of the pocket and won't burn you with his legs. And with Rice out of the picture the bailout threat of him taking a pass out of the backfield is gone.

Defenses are backing up and covering the long ball more which is Flacco's real threat and Torrey was the primary recipient of those deep chucks.

And yeah, I was not expecting the thumping that Baltimore put on Pittsburg last night. Rothlesburger got BLOWN UP on a few hits.

Is the Philly D worth holding onto at all going forward? I have Pats D as my "for the season defense", but picked up Philly in the draft for week 1.

Thinking of dropping them to pick up a 3rd QB, just to stash him and thin the QB pool a bit in case someone else in the league has a QB go down and is looking for a replacement. No fantastic QB's out there really though, not even 3rd tier. Thinking maybe Orton or Manziel are worth pick up to stash in case they suddenly find themselves with starting jobs.

No reason to have two defenses. Literally on your bye week is the only time you need two.

Just came here to post this. I wonder if he's going to get suspended. :hmm:

Probably not since no video tape has been revealed yet. :|

How much you want to bet it was a stupid incident and the cops saw it was adrian peterson so they went ahead and arrested him for nothing, just so they could say they arrested him?

It sounds to me like the kids mom wanted AP arrested. Apparently AP was punishing the kid with a switch, and left some marks on the kids ass/legs. :\

A parent can't even spank a kid these days without getting in trouble..

Whats a switch? Switchblade? 16-port network switch?

Switch: A slender, flexible shoot, rod, etc., used especially in whipping or disciplining. :\

Yeah, there's just nothing else much to rush and pick up. I can only fill the spot with either a QB or a kicker. I just planned to keep Pats for the year and stream a second defense if there's a juicy matchup. I think (read, hope) that the Pats develop into a solid defense this year

On the AP news, wow. This will get WAY blown out of proportion with all else going on
