Some advice in a PPR? Was offered James Jones for Branden Oliver. Normally I wouldn't do the trade since Oliver is killing it but my RB core is sick and my WR core is meh. Frr reference:
RB: Jamaal Charles (got him on a desperate trade), Arian Foster, Fred Jackson in FLEX and Rashad Jennings on my Bench
WR: Andre Johnson, Michael Crabtree, Andrew Hawkins

Thoughts on the trade. I can't even use Oliver right now unless one of my guys gets hurt. Hopefully by then Rashad gets back and becomes a solid backup RB option. My WR core isn't doing so hot this season. No one of note off waivers.

Which WRs are on your waiver wires?

Best ones are Jermaine Kearse, Miles Austin and Doug Baldwin.I'd rather trade my players than drop for a waiver pick.

James Jones isn't a bad pickup but Carr is really clicking with Holmes. Granted, Oliver's "use" is going to go down when Mathews is back so it's best to sell high. I can't believe those are the only players on your waiver wire - did someone already get Holmes?

Yes. This is a 12 team auction league with 3WR, 2RB, 1 TE and a Flex with 5 bench spots. The good players are usually scooped up pretty quickly and stashed away.

Pierre Thomas, Cecil shorts or Owen Daniels for my flex this week . ppr.

Kinda like PT for a solid 10, shorts for boom/bust or Daniels mainly for red zone looks.

Shorts or Daniels, PT is going against arguably the best defense in the league on the road.

Shorts is going up against a horrible secondary and most likely will be covered by Haden which is a huge plus matchup. The only downside is that CLE is going to chew up huge chunks of time with a successful running game, thus limiting the Jags T.O.P. Also keep in mind that that Allen Robinson also has a tasty matchup vs Skrine. However, the money man is Shorts so he's going to eat over the rook and I love any 50/50 shot to eat heartily. You may be wondering about Hurns' matchup? Not good, over half the time he'll see K'Waun Williams who has been stout. I like Shorts the best out of the 3.

Daniels - ATL has been good against TE's and Torrey Smith has a great matchup vs Alford most of the time. I expect a heavy dose of Forsett against a bottom 10 Run Defense. This should set up the pass making both Smiths good bets to eat, and the WRs have a better matchup than Daniels since ATL has a horrid pass rush and Flacco shouldn't need his checkdown security blankie TE in this one. Looking at the stats, ATL is also horrible pass coverage team so BALT should dominate by land or air and they should have no problem with ATL (since they have the best Pass Rush in the NFL and a top 10 Run D). It's going to be a long day for the Falcons assuming shutdown corner Jimmy Smith is successful against Julio Jones. Daniels is a crapshoot in this one and probably TD dependent but still not a bad PPR bet since you know BALT is going to move the ball like crazy.

Graham is out for Bree's. Brady has no running game now with Ridley out. Plus Brady has a history of whooping the Jets who have a terrible secondary this year.

Brady is going to be throwing A LOT tonight. Against a bad team. I vote Brady.

You are stacked at RB. I'm not really high on Jones, Holmes is the clear #1 but you have to ask yourself if you think you would absolutely play Jones over Hawkins (assuming nothing on Waivers). If yes, then do the deal. So far it appears that Jones has been more productive than Hawkins, and Josh Gordon comes back in week 10 to further erode his value.

Brady vs Jets or Brees @ Det?

Brady at Foxboro without a doubt. LaFell's emergence along with Tyms and Wright mean Brady should dominate NY, especially since he'll be forced to throw against an awful secondary.

Brees hasn't been great on the road and going up against a top 3 defense without Graham and the drop machine known as Colston? No thanks. I'm actually starting Stafford over Brees, and I'd actually be happy if Brees makes me eat crow b/c that would mean he's back to 2013 form. But that's probably not going to happen.

Here's my roster:
QB Colin Kaepernick
RB/WR Le'Veon Bell
RB/WR MNark Ingram
WR Andre Johnson
WR/TE Pierre Garcon
WR/TE Antonio Gates
D/ST 49ers D/ST
K Steven Hauschka

Bench: Vernon Davis, Malcom Floyd, Alex Smith, Cody Parkey, Lorenzo Taliaferro, Owen Daniels, Davanate Adams
IR: Darren Sproles

I just got a trade offer: Andre Johnson for Kendall Wright and a conditional 5th round draft pick next year (if Andre Johnson scores more than 70 points until Week 16).

My initial thought was that seems like a fair trade since I think Andre Johnson will score more than 70 points by the end of the regular season. However, I am thinking that Kendall Wright will not produce anywhere close to Andre Johnson. I'm leaning towards not taking the trade, but the conditional 5th round draft pick is making it hard to say no.

So you sent the #2 QB and the #13 WR for the #10 WR who's in a volatile QB situation? Does not compute. I'll take those 2 over Desean any day of the week.

Gronk and Harvin (who is a bust and getting dropped in leagues) for Jordy = pure stupidity for whoever did that deal. The #6 TE who doesn't even play every snap for the #1 WR?

Let me know when this league has an opening, would love to join.

I have rodgers as my main qb and will be picking up Dalton v Jacksonville for Rodger's bye. Rivers was good trade fodder for me since he doesn't really compliment Rodgers schedule. I will admit that was a lopsided trade, but it gets hard to upgrade my team now from what I have. Gronk and Harvin was an opening offer, it was renegotiated as Gronk + Desean for Nelsen. (He had Graham). I guess when I said pending, I should have said offered.

Once that works out, my starting lineup will be
QB Aaron Rodgers
RB DeMarco Murray*
RB Le'Veon Bell*
WR Antonio Brown*
WR Jordy Nelsen
WR Larry Fitz (Josh Gordon game 12 and beyond)
TE Julius Thomas
Flex Jamaal Charles
K Streaming
D/ST Streaming

Mike Wallace*, Ahmad Bradshaw, and Harvin (if he starts scoring) to sub in and out as needed.

*Players originally drafted in 8 man auction league.

What's your record? If you have a losing record, may as well just take the hit and hope that you draft better next year. If you have a winning record, I'd sit tight on the lineup you have. There is a wide gap between Wright and A.J, especially with the whole QB instability... I think the problem with your lineup is going to be consistency with Kaepernick, Gates/VD, and now Ingram (with Khiry running well). Garcon only had his 2nd red zone look Sunday and we're in week 7. You don't have guys that just kill it every week on high volume, so maybe you should do the trade.

Ok Gronk + DJax for Jordy makes a little more sense.

Wow, nice team, that's like playing Doom with God mode on.

I paid $26 for Bell during the draft.

I lucked out. Rivers was a FA pickup, along with Fitz and Gordon. I traded/picked up a lot of players at their low points. Gronk at beginning of year, Julius Thomas before season started, Rodgers after game 3, and Charles right after the high ankle sprain diognosis. My highest bid was $40 on Arian foster and I sent him off along with Cobb for Jamaal Charles and Antonio Brown. The next highest was $33 for Murray, then $26 for Bell and Stacy. Everyone else was under $20 and I was lucky to have them do well and high price players fall.

I'm 4-2 and for next year's draft I have an extra 8th, 14th, 7th or 8th (conditional on Patterson's performance), and an extra 4th and 7th.

You hit all the points that are making me very indecisive about this trade. Garcon, Gates, and Johnson haven't been performing the way they need to be, but I don't think Wright will be any more consistent especially with the QB situation in Tennessee.

I think Garcon will get better when RG3 gets back (which is why I've been hesitant to trade him). I think Ingram will take back his place as the RB1 in NO (even though it still is running back by committee). Mainly, I think I am trying to trade away Gates and Johnson for more stable, consistent players.

Trying to work a trade.

Trying to pick up:
1) Steve Smith Sr - Bal WR
2) Mark Ingram - NO RB

Willing to give up any of the following:
1) Jamaal Charles - KC RB (prefer to keep this guy out of this particular trade but not out of the question)
2) Cordarelle Patterson - Min WR
3) Ahmad Bradshaw - Ind RB
4) Delanie Walker - - Ten TE
5) Michael Floyd - Ari WR
6) Allen Robinson - Jax WR
7) Chris Johnson - NYJ RB
8) Brian Quick - STL WR
9) Big Ben - Pitt QB
10) Ladarius Green - SD TE
11) Carolina - Def (This would be a small defense upgrade (In My Opinion) for the person I am trading with. They have the Titans.)

What would be fair or slightly advantageous for the other person? I tried Patterson/Carolina for Steve Smith as a trade already but got rejected. Not surprised really but it started the trade dialogue.

EDIT: Ok .. just as I posted I was sent this: (He has Damaryius Thomas and CJ Spiller and wants Jamaal Charles). He already said it's not fair but I think he is giving it a whirl. I have no interest in those players. I'll post more of his players later .... have to run for now.

What does the guy need? That's the real question. Or are you the one in need?

In for spot #6. This Fan Duel stuff is kinda addicting lol

I don't pay as much attention to my regular teams as I do the fanduel stuff. Kind of nice to really analyze the match ups for the week and then pick a team versus just sticking with the same players over and over.
