That's a fucking bullshit trade, and it needs to be veto'd. I voted against it as it is clearly lopsided and boosting Beantown.

I don't know why. :whiste:

My team looked a lot weaker early in the season, Demaryius is really helping me out.

Just saw this in same league (PPR, Keeper). Is Dez out for the year or something, or am I right to be more than a little suspicious? I don't like to vote against trades unless it really clearly is a case of collusion or a player tanking:

Dez Bryant and Niles Paul
for
Mark Ingram and Khiry Robinson

bullshit trade

Need a QB. Who is unloved but worth getting?

I hope to grab RG3 for when he returns but I need a sub for now since my only QB is now riding bench for Washington.

RG3 -Was
McCown - TB
Manziel - Cle
Fitzpatrick - Hou
Locker - Ten
G Smith - NY
Glenon - TB
Manuel - Buf

And more crap.

No Tannehill vs JAX or Orton vs NYJ?

Glennon has throw 2 TDs in his last 3 games since he gets a lot of garbage time and has averaged a good 25.1 points in those games. At home vs MN he's going against a top 10 Pass Cover team.

Geno has gone over 20pts in 4 of 7 games and Buffalo's secondary is burnable (one spot above the Titans) and he'll have to throw since Buff's Run D is wicked. Also the Jets seem to play better at home and Geno looked good @Foxboro this week. I think the Jets will be unveiling Percy Harvin too so should be interesting.

Fitzmagic just put up 24.7 pts vs a middle of the pack Stillers D. TN is slightly worse and even though it's on the road, Fitz has put up his best weeks on the road so no biggie. TN is the worst D of the 3 matchups and Fitz is #1 in Deep Passing Accuracy, albeit a very small sample size (14 of 21).

I'd lean to one of those in a spot start but don't expect much of a ceiling.

Who wouldn't like that trade? And honestly, it makes no sense for you - outside of Forte/Foster, your RB status blows. Spiller, West, Ingram, Blue and Robinson ... ouch!

I liked the trade too which is why I offered it. Here was my roster and my logic:

RB: Bradshaw (RB1 but likely hurt any moment), Doug Martin (bust), some random third/fourth option in a timeshare guys.

WR: Dez (WR1), Kelvin Benjamin (WR1-2), Allen Robinson (WR2), and Josh Gordon (WR1? when he returns).

TE: Ertz, Donnell, Niles Paul

So I was giving Dez (an expendable WR1 for me and $52 keeper cost for next year) and my TE3 (WW candidate).

In return I was getting Ingram (RB1 performer before injury and potentially going forward ROS at $3 keeper cost) who is an immediate upgrade for Doug Martin, plus Khiry Robinson (RB2-3 this year, $1 keeper cost). Ingram is a FA next year giving him better 2015 upside on another team, leaving Robinson as the likely starter for NO next year. So I'd have potentially two starting RBs as 2015 keepers for $4 cost. For the price of guy who'd be arguably my 3rd WR1 (and certainly wouldn't be a 2015 keeper at $52) and a guy I'd likely cut anyway to fill a bye week roster hole.

I'm struggling to see how this represents collusion. As dougp pointed out, Beantown is sacrificing all his RB depth to get Dez. This isn't a one-sided trade by any means.

Except you're 1-6 and #10 while Beantown is 6-1 and #2. You are getting bench warmers while he gets the best WR in the league. Ingram isn't a RB1 right now, and potentially won't be as long as the Saints are playing from behind. Khiry is back to 6-8 touches a game at max, behind two backs.

Dez is actually #6 WR in our league but point taken. I still don't like being falsely accused of collusion though.

It's not collusion, but it's definitely one person potentially tanking - and not just to get a good keeper, since Dez Bryant is at least a top 5 receiver if redrafting right now. It's not like he's an old running back past his prime or anything, so he's likely to be be valuable for a few years (barring injury or any other unpredictable situation). It's unfair and anti-competitive, in the truest sense, in that it greatly disadvantages or advantages the teams matched up against your teams. I also don't get the logic of trading Dez Bryant and Niles Paul for two running backs from the same team. New Orleans' committee approach makes it notoriously unpredictable at running back, except maybe when talking about Pierre Thomas for PPR reasons (but not huge upside or consistency even in his case).

There's not a lot of upside or balance in this trade for this season or if you are playing for the next to justify it, especially in a PPR league.
I voted against it. I don't like to vote against trades (especially if there's a backlash against future trades), but this one is too lopsided even if the two trading members think it's fair and haven't colluded. Even people not in the league can see it isn't a fair trade.

Yeah that's a lopsided trade and I'm not in your league. Dez is a top 5 receiver and Ingram/Khiry are RB3/FLEX's. I think Ingram has potential to be a RB2 but even if he was a 2 right now, probably still not a fair trade. Niles Paul doesn't make it better since he's waiver trash (owned in 8.6% of ESPN leagues). I think a couple of RB2's or a RB2/WR2 would be more appropriate for Dez. It should be 2 players you can start every week for Dez's spectacular production.

On a sidenote, this has been a really wacky and unlucky year for me. I'm #3/12 in total scoring (811 points) yet tied for 7th in the league. Ugh. I'm getting solid production out of everyone (Demarco/Jordy/Gostkowski) but seems like someone will "boom" at just the right time and win by a TD or less. Irritating. The cream will eventually rise to the top but I'm impatient.

TE question for you guys. Should I keep Gronkowski or Julius Thomas? I don't have room for both and I can likely get an WR1 out of one of them. I think Julius Thomas is a solid TE, but there are a lot of options for the better Manning now with the other Thomas, Welker, and Sanders.

Brady has Gronk, Edelman, LaFell and Vareen (although who expects him to have a repeat performance).

Gronk is getting more targets and yards, if not TDs. I also think I can sell Thomas at a higher price.

Are the keeper costs the same? If so sell Gronk since he has a worse injury history. His theoretical higher production is worthless if he's sitting on IR.

So I had waiver 5 and figured I would get tre mason or Baldwin. Burn... I didn't want anyone else.

Now I'm wavier #2.

But zac Stacy got dropped, might grab him off FA. U think he is worth it? Now that I don't have tre, I want to believe Stacy won't go quietly... I would waste my wavier pick but I can easily drop cousins for Stacy.(what I wanted to do for tre, Baldwin)

With Watkins playing at a high level, Orton has the best matchup of that group and he's scored 20 points or more in all 3 of his games, including @Detroit for 300 yds. I doubt @NYJ will be tougher than Detroit given their cupcake secondary.

He's not worth it. I just dropped him for Denard.

I tried to go for Tre Mason also with a waiver 6. No dice. Ended up getting Darren McFadden

I barely ever post questions like these, but this is seriously a tough call.

start two:

Julian Edelman vs CHI
TY Hilton vs PIT
Doug Baldwin vs CAR

Edelman's numbers have been a bit low lately but he's PPR gold
Hilton appears to be the best WR for Luck who is on fire
Baldwin just took over in SEA with Harvin gone
