Any help picking RB/Flex greatly appreciated. PPR league. Have to start 2 WR, 1 RB, and a Flex. I guess the Flex would probably be Josh Gordon? Joique Bell (vs CHI) and Ryan Mathews (@ BAL) are also available on waiver wire. EDIT - non-keeper league.

I'm worried about Marshall this week. You need to start Jennings vs. Jax - I'd move him over Ellington. The Cardinals have picked up Michael Bush because Ellington hasn't been able to get it in the end-zone. Gordon should easily be your flex, and unless this is a keeper league, I'd drop Murray for Bell.

Need to win in one league this week just to stay in playoff contention. Russell Wilson or Alex Smith?

You have to play your studs. Smith only had 17 points in their last meeting and really has never broken 20 points unless it was a subpar team. Against good defenses, Smith doesn't do much from a fantasy perspective. Case in point: Sea - 5pts, @Buf - 17, StL - 13, @SF - 12.5, @Den - 17. That doesn't leave me with a lot of confidence, even at Arrowhead.

Looking at Wilson's track record this year, he's actually performed against a few tough defenses that stop (and I use that term loosely with Beast Mode) the run. For example, Ari - 23.9, Den - 29.1. My only concern is SF's pass rush, but he has also torched good pass rush teams like KC and St.L. His upside is much higher than Smith's and he can beat any defense with his legs. I think you have to go with the stud here.

Pittsburgh steelers defense against Bengals for week 14 defense? Might grab them now while they are available in my league.

The reason I want them is that week 14 is week 1 of playoffs for me.

Agree with this assessment. I'd actually have Mathews over Murray as well, although his final games are bad from a matchup standpoint and his 2nd worst Run Blocking line. Even despite this, I view Mathews as almost matchup proof since he usually gets volume and is still talented despite being made of tissue paper.

Yeah for PPR that sounds about right. Bryant is a good bet to score a TD vs NO though, whereas Crabtree not so much.

Already have Miami and KC defense. Great for weeks 15/16 but not 14. Week 14 is KC vs Arizona and Miami vs Baltimore.

I would roll with Miami, they've been top 3 all year, esp over Pit@Cincy.

What I meant is he got hurt again during the game and saw limited use - do you really want that to happen again when the games are starting to matter? Mathews really needs to be a little more consistent coming off injury before I'd consider starting him over some other players.
