Playoff time... its a tough fight since i dont know how many of my players will make it sunday, i have reed, Ellington, Rashad Jennings. I figure i need to take this one game at a time so either will be dropped once i find out they aren't playing.
So i need to brainstorm here. PPR league with #2 waiver.
I have Crabtree (VS OAK) and Martavis Bryant( VS CINNY) for my final WR, not a fan of either .
I could pick up guys like Bailey (VS was), Woods (VS DEN), D.Adams (ATL), Greg jennings(jets)
I drafted Jennings
Crabtree and M.Bryant, I'm staying away from this week. Crabtree has a 53 rating vs DJ Hayden (decent but not ridiculously good) and Crapernick is coming off one of his worst weeks. Both should bounce back but I wouldn't risk it. M.Bryant - His snaps went down slightly last week (33/92) and haven't gone up all year (never more than 39 snaps), he's too boom or bust for me.
Looking at the matchup percentages - Bailey has the highest rating at 82/100 vs David Amerson (who is terrible), Adams vs Robert McClain 73, Woods 61 vs Bradley Roby, Jennings vs Kyle Wilson 56.
I like Woods the best since Denver has a good Run D and they will most likely be playing catch-up in the air, and Watkins has a banged up hip... even if Talib is on him (if Watkins is out), Talib has been beatable this year and that matchup grades a 61. Chris Harris is the guy to watch out for on Denver and he'll be on Hogan for over 1/3 of the time, statistically, but Woods could run into him *some* of the time which goes in Harris' favor (absolute shutdown corner this year).
Bailey is as good a pick as Woods or better since he's been on a tear; this is despite the fact that StL will also gash Washington on the ground with Mason - how much is anyone's guess. If they go to him he should continue to eat heartily and with the least resistance of anyone.
Jennings is a total coin flip since teammate Charles Johnson has a slightly better matchup and then there's Rudolph back in the mix (not to mention Wright and Patterson lower on the depth chart). The Vikings at home will probably have this game in hand early, possibly with help from the defense terrorizing Geno, so that could cut into Jennings' opportunities if the game flows in such a manner.
Davonte Adams could see some action since Trufant will be on Jordy but Cobb has a beatable guy in Josh Wilson (58 matchup) so they may just milk that, but Adams is an above average bet possessing the best matchup of the 3 so he could get more action than usual. In general I stay away from Adams since Jordy/Cobb are virtually matchup proof and get the lion's share of the points.
