Nope, everything went as planned. Pats pounded the ball early but KC did it better. That forced Brady to throw, and with Brady sitting dead last at PFF's accuracy ratings going into week 4 (it's now Foles lol)... you saw the results. Kelce had 16~ points, whoopdedoo. Not even close to 32.
BTW where are all the Brady lovers in this thread now? The stats don't lie, he sucks this year, mainly because his team = the worst Pass Blockers in the league at -26.7 that is
partly to blame. Oddly, Under Pressure stats show he's middle of the league in Accuracy (60%) so not sure why he's so bad when NOT Under Pressure; he's seeing the 8th highest Pressure % in the league; the only guys with higher pressure and better accuracy are Russell Wilson (3rd most pressure, 80% accuracy) and Austin Davis (4th most pressure, 70% Accuracy). I would only have him as a bye week backup at this point and even then there should be better WW options. He could turn it around because this appears to be a mental issue, i.e. since his pressure has increased so much he's worried even when NOT under pressure. But all in all, his league worst Pass Blocking is just a horrible sign of things to come for that offense unless they can turn it around. I would recommend packaging Gronk (and Shane Vereen non-PPR) in a multi-player trade if they're on your rosters. I like to steer clear of players with bottom Oline play so far: Jags-Bucs-Pats-Raiders-Bills-Jets-Philly in order of egregious awfulness. Luckily Philly's line gets a huge boost this week so they should rise...
Foles owners may want to have a backup plan since Foles is now less accurate than Brady after the worst game of his career. Still start him b/c of his weapons; I'm hoping that it's just the results of his worst 5 Pass Blocking. RT Lane Johnson coming back this week will be a HUGE sigh of relief for Philly fans and plugs 1 of 3 turnstiles on the OLine and they have to survive for the next 4 games until best-in-the-league Mathis returns (and Kelce a few weeks later). Their 2 toughest in that stretch are NYG (very good this year) luckily at home, and then @AZ. AZ's pass coverage/pass rush is almost as shitty as Foles' accuracy but they are stout against the run which could expose him. StL this week is a nice break and @Houston doesn't worry me. All in all, I'd stash a backup this week and fire him up if Foles does shitty against pushover StL.
