My coworker does the opposite of what I say. I said Stafford over Rivers, granted it was only 5 pts but he started Rivers, so it was his win.

I don't see why Forsett shouldn't do good - but the odds were against Morris due to the way the 49ers stop the run, and the Redskins can't air it out.

That's what I was thinking as well, but it looks like it worked out for me anyway. Forsett gave me 20+ points.

Unreal that I lose a week to Forsett-T.Smith-Brees after being up big. I'm top 4 in scoring but 2nd most points against in 12man, horrible luck for all 3 to blow up with one having the best game of his career. Hoping that this anomaly corrects itself in the playoffs. I'd rather be 1-11 than score a shitload and have everyone blow up when they play me to be 6-6.

he was hobbled, throws a terrible weak throw that was almost a pick 6 but he chased the guy down and seemed to get a bit more hurt in the process. geno smith in on the next drive.

Ah well, it's all too little too late anyway. No way I can make the playoffs.

Oh gotcha, 2QB league probably means there wasn't jack on the WW. I played Orton on a bye week and he did well, but not enough to offset Brees' monster day. ugh.

Picked up Charles Johnson to try him out for a few weeks. He's gotten a lot of targets in the past 2 weeks and is quite a physical specimen (6-2/220/4.3 speed).

Start Stanton vs ATL or Flacco vs SD as QB this week?

Stanton has only gone over 20 points twice in 6 games and both games were at home, he's on the road this week and missing Larry Fitz. There is a risk of a <10pt floor, even if it is ATL.

Flacco's at home and you know his floor is higher than Stantons so less risk. Also, that OLine is firing on all cylinders and the run game is working which is opening everything up. SD's D is decent but they have trouble stopping the run. Their pass D is actually very solid and they graded out at +1.2 off FS Weddle's good performance, but they're at a tough stadium and likely to get a heavy dose of punishment from the run game. This should allow Flacco to find the open man, especially since SD has a wimpy pass rush aside from Freeney.

How many touches Blount gets this week is anyones guess. It's not certain that he is the number 1.

Oakland is graded 3rd to last in Run Blocking. I'm not high on him, he'd need another good game vs STL to convince me. Keep in mind his success last week came against the 10th worst graded run D in Kansas City. Aside from week 15 (@KC), shit is about to get real against above average to good run D's (@STL, SF, KC, BUF).

Blount is a total wild card with J.Gray in the mix (and Shane Vereen), in fact they will probably split carries and nullify each other making either a total dartboard throw. In choosing between Murray or Blount, neither is good but I'd narrowly pick Murry just because of volume and the fact that he's the feature back.
