DeMarco Murray finishes the season with 1845 rushing yards! Almost 500 more than the number 2 spot (1361), although I think Le'Veon Bell (#2) is going to be a monster for the next few years.

Arizona at Carolina - trap game, and I think Carolina is actually peaking. Palmer's injury really screwed the Cardinals. Panther's D will win this game.
Baltimore at Pittsburgh - Shittsburgh is going to run all over them. My faith in Flacco is zero.

SUN JAN 4
Cincinnati at Indy - This is a trap game for both teams. I give the edge to the Colts, but wouldn't be surprised either way.
Detroit at Dallas - Dallas is going to take this one. The combination of run and pass will be effective.

Detroit could pull an upset, but I think they would have to score 40.

Dallas is 15th in PPG at 22.0, so while I wouldn't bet on them (never bet on the Cowboys), I don't expect Detroit to score enough. They will give Romo time in the pocket and not be able to stop Dez, Witten, and Beasley from getting open.

Hence, why I put "Where Romo happens" in the thread title.

Anywho, we have absolutely no one who can cover Witten, Dez, and GB put 147 on the ground on our D yesterday. We still allow well under 70 ypg rushing. That's still tops.

The simple fact that you guys would likely score 30+ is because of our secondary, so we'll have to outscore you to win. I can see 80 points total in that game.

While Megatron did wreck the Cowboys in their last meeting, it really came down to a 4th quarter 2 minute drill Dan Marino fake spike for the Lions to win the game. And, that was against a different Dallas team. And, even in that Stafford had 1 TD, which was to Megatron who had over 300 receiving yards against the worst defense in history.

Aw crap - I 'cut the cord' and only have OTA channels. Do the local TV markets get the game OTA, like the Thursday night games?

Update 12/30/14: Announcement today that the local Fox affiliate will broadcast the game.

Oh and at least it's the least cared for game that is on ESPN. Two teams that stumbled into the playoffs. Carolina needed a miracle bombing by the Saints and Falcons to get in. Arizona staggered in on early season merits only.

Detroit and Dallas is the only game that really interests me this week. I'll watch the Indy and Cincy game because I live an hour from the Bengals homefield. But I have zero faith in Dalton.

Stafford is winless on the road for his career against teams .500 or better, he's like 2-30 overall when playing winning teams.

Eh, not a huge upset. 3 out of 5 in Vegas has them, with Stafford's record against winning teams, at +7. Considering home field advantage is generally 3 points, they are really only a 4 point underdog in a neutral location. The other 2 have them at even and +8.

Yeah, frickin ESPN ruins everything. Took away the good bowl games and Monday Night Football, and now starting to take away NFL playoff games.

I believe Detroit will get spanked badly, BUT they are playing at JerryWorld and the Cowboys have been less than impressive there. A meltdown on their part WOULD be lulzworthy.

I believe the Colts will lose to the Bungles. I have no confidence in them.

I am surprised Gruden isn't out, honestly. Snyder has proven he is a moron plenty of times before, why not one more time? I think this will actually improve the Redskins. If RG3 now gets he isn't the savior of the Redskins and the almighty QB, Gruden might be able to put some fundamentals into his head and they win games. He didn't do terrible against Dallas. One of those interceptions was tipped and not his fault. He did have a fumble, but he moved when he had to. He had a respectable 27/41.

its been known for a while that gruden was sticking around.

and rg3 is a bad qb. who cares what his numbers were yesterday. most of his pass yards were dink and dunk passes where garcon and djax got all the yards for him. the redskins were never really in the game outside of the first quarter either, so a lot of the time they played was during garbage time.

i think his total td/int ratio this year was like 3/6 ... that is FUCKING TERRIBLE, and that is like 7 or 8 games played or something.

i wish rg3 would pan out and be a good qb, but i simply think he never will. he is not showing much to be excited about. he's still making terrible decisions and can't see anyone unless they are WIDE open. he can't lead receivers and throw the ball before they are open or even looking at the ball.

he lacks major fundamentals as well as intangibles.

i'm just waiting for danny boy to bring in cutler and rex ryan as a DC. those are just "beloved patriot" moves right there.

I'm surprised Rob Ryan hasn't been bounced out of New Orleans yet. I thought he had wore out his welcome. Also surprised that Coughlin isn't out of NY. He seems like a guy that has all but accepted his fate and ready to close the book on coaching.
