Well, he didn't really run into that guy until AFTER the ball hit his butt, so I don't know how that was catchable even if he didn't turn around.

Well, he didn't really run into that guy until AFTER the ball hit his butt, so I don't know how that was catchable even if he didn't turn around.

I could see that take if the ball sailed well over his head but if the defender didn't block him out he might have been able to come back to the ball.

If anyone wants to make the argument that football is fixed, this game is a good example of it. That penalty completely changes the rest of the game. It's not uncommon to pick up a flag, but it's almost always when the initial call was pretty much BS.
