Its not. They paid a .19 dividend once in May. CNN is incorrectly multiplying this times 4 (assuming they pay it quarterly), but they won't. Most likely they will never pay a dividend again as they are increasing share count at a terrifying pace.

They had a price drop when they diluted the shares. Expect a drop in dividends too.

I still have most of my Alibaba shares. I doubled down at $83.90 and unloaded some trading shares at $89 ahead of Apple earnings but that's it. I also bought chunk of Yahoo when I bought Alibaba. So in a way I bought even more Alibaba.

People used to celebrate over 5 point DOW increase. Now it fluctuates 400 point, up and down in a month.
Before crash in 29, everyone was speculating in the market and with margin calls. After crash, separation of banks and stocks. Now everyone encouraged to invest for their future. Banks and speculation (and what I consider usury) are the norm. Who profits from these swings/ The buyers and sellers of stock or is it the middleman making money from the churn?

I think it's the interest rate hikes but I (they?) also think the Fed is too scared to raise it much/at all.

I think you may average down more next week or two.

After that even lower or will start to rise back up. If it is a good Holiday (spending wise). May start back up. Holiday spending is semi-optional (amount wise). If people spend enough on optional things fuel (being more required) can then rise. There by forceing more spending. If fuel is high people may hold back on holiday spending.

You can add an ETF to spread the risk. Not sure if there's one that has the companies you listed.
