I heard Gumble mention that, but I originally thought he said the announcement was made for the Brazilian team to be escorted out for safety.

If it were a 4-3 type yes absolutely but 7-0 games aren't really all too entertaining to watch. I'll take a 0-0 game with good chances on both sides as opposed to this.

Yeah that's more what I'm referring to. 7 total goals in a soccer game is huge. Would likely make it more popular here.

Have to say though that I'm not a soccer fan at all really but do love the World Cup and have had a blast watching this year. Wish we had a level of play like this (or of course the EPL) in our US league.

This was only my second soccer game watched in my nearly 50 years of being around. Being half German and half Scottish I have to say I enjoyed today's game so much I will now watch the rest of FIFA. Much better than that damn Netherlands game this past weekend.

yeah from a neutral standpoint any game that goes 3-0 gets pretty boring to watch usually. mostly cause at that point generally the losing team is just deflated and kind of stops trying. Once a game hits that point im usually multitasking instead of just watching.

Now if you support the losing team you tend to watch just for the glimmer of hope your team comes back (ala Everton vs Manchester United when Everton scored two in stoppage time). And if you support the winning team you just soak it in and watch your boys have fun! (ala Manchester United vs AS Roma finishing 7-1 united)

All I can say is: don't count your chickens before they're hatched. It's been an unpredictable WC after all! Holland/Argentina don't look so good, but you never know!

I noticed that too in the opening 3 minutes. Shouted at them that they better slow it down and pace themselves or the Germans will pick them apart.
